A multi-standby mobile terminal and a method for providing a host function between different networks in a multi-standby mobile terminal are provided. The method includes creating a call from a first mobile terminal, as a multi-standby mobile terminal, to a second mobile terminal on a first network and to a third mobile terminal on a second network, outputting a received voice signal through a speaker from the first mobile terminal, when the voice signal is received from one of the second mobile terminal and third mobile terminal, and, transmitting, from the first mobile terminal, the received voice signal through a loopback process to the one of the second mobile terminal and third mobile terminal that does not transmit the voice signal.

Multi-standby mobile terminal and host function providing method for the same

A method and a circuit for controlling a reception path of a multi-standby terminal are provided. If a first communication module is in a transmission state, all filters disposed in a reception path of a second communication module are activated. If the first communication module is not in a transmission state, fewer than all of the filters disposed in the reception path of the second communication module are activated. A plurality of filters disposed in the reception path of the second communication module are activated partially or fully according to the transmission state of the first communication module.

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a transmission power of a dual standby mode mobile terminal. A method of controlling a transmission power of the invention includes performing a conversation standby service with a first communications network while performing a conversation service with a second communications network, and receiving a first power control level from a base station of the first communications network; comparing a second power control level that corresponds to a power code, which is set for a current output signal power, with the first power control level; and decreasing a current power code when the first power control level is greater than or equal to the second power control level.
