A fuel cell includes a cell stack in which multiple unit cells are stacked in a first direction, an enclosure enveloping the cell stack and including at least one opening to open at least one of the two end portions of the cell stack, first and second end plates respectively disposed at the two end portions of the cell stack, a clamping member clamping the unit cells, and a coupling screw coupling the clamping member to a target end plate among the first and second end plates. The target end plate includes a body, including a first internal surface facing the cell stack and an external surface, and a partition wall, spaced from the external surface in the first direction to form a gap. The coupling screw passes through the partition wall and couples the clamping member to the body via the gap.

Fuel cell having excellent sealing performance

A fuel cell includes a cell stack including unit cells stacked in a first direction, first and second end plates at first and second ends of the cell stack, respectively, the first and second end plates each including a metal part and a resin part, an enclosure engaged with the first and second end plates to surround the cell stack, a first outer gasket between the resin part of the first end plate and the enclosure and a second outer gasket between the resin part of the second end plate and the enclosure, each of the resin parts including cutoff portions spaced apart from each other, and each of the cutoff portions extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction or in a third direction intersecting each of the first direction and the second direction to expose the metal parts.

Fuel cell

A fuel cell includes a cell stack configured such that a plurality of unit cells is stacked, an end plate disposed at one of two ends of the cell stack, the end plate including an air inlet, an air outlet, and a groove portion including a first groove adjacent to and spaced apart from the air outlet and a second groove connecting the first groove to the air inlet, and a cover configured to cover a region of the end plate in which the air inlet, the groove portion and the air outlet are formed so as to form a flow path together with the second groove to allow air to pass therethrough. The cover includes a first through-hole communicating with the first groove, a second through-hole communicating with the air outlet, and a partition wall isolating the first and second through-holes from each other.
