A multi output DC/DC converter includes a transformer having a primary side winding connected to an input side and a secondary side winding connected to an output side; a rectifying diode for rectifying an output of the secondary side winding; an output inductor having a first end connected to the rectifying diode; and a first output switching element and a second output switching element each having first ends connected to a second end of the output inductor, where a second end of the first output switching element and a second end of the second output switching element become first and second output stages outputting different voltages, respectively.

Multi output DC/DC converter and method for controlling the same

There is provided a power supply apparatus including: a first power supply unit including a transformer switching and transforming an input power, and converting the input power into a first power and providing the first power to a main output terminal and a standby output terminal; a second power supply unit converting the input power into a second power and provide the second power as an operating power of the first power supply unit; and a main switching unit intermitting supplying of the first power from the first power supply unit to the main output terminal.

A power supply device may include an insulating DC/DC converter unit including a primary winding and a secondary winding magnetically coupled to the primary winding, and inducing a voltage in the secondary winding in a first direction or a second direction, and a boosting unit. The boosting unit may comprise a first booster boosting the voltage induced in the secondary winding to supply power to a first light emitting diode module, in a first mode in which the voltage is induced in the secondary winding in the first direction, and a second booster boosting the voltage induced in the secondary winding to supply power to a second light emitting diode module, in a second mode in which the voltage is induced in the secondary winding in the second direction.

A switching mode power supply apparatus includes a main transformer converting DC voltage of a predetermined amplitude supplied from a voltage source into DC voltage of a different amplitude; an auxiliary transformer operated by receiving current flowing in a primary winding of the main transformer; a first semiconductor switching element turning on/off an LED array that is driven by receiving voltage from a secondary winding of the auxiliary transformer; and an auxiliary circuit disposed in an LED control circuit unit including the LED array and the first semiconductor switching element, wherein the auxiliary circuit distributes current flowing in the first semiconductor switching element so as to reduce heat generated in the first semiconductor switching element.

Switching mode power supply apparatus

There is provided a power supply apparatus including an interleaved active clamp forward converter unit including a first active clamp forward converter and a second active clamp forward converter, and an output unit magnetically coupled to the forward converter unit and having an output path according to a duty ratio of the forward converter unit, wherein the output unit includes a third powering leg electrified when the first active clamp forward converter and the second active clamp forward converter are powered, and an output leg supplying power to a load.

There is provided a power converter integrated with an auxiliary converter. The power converter includes: a flyback converter converting an input power of a power supply input terminal into a standby power through a primary side circuit connected to the power supply input terminal and a secondary side circuit magnetically coupled to the primary side circuit to supply the standby power; and a main converter converting the input power of the power supply input terminal into a main power to supply the main power, and converting the input power of the power supply input terminal into the standby power through the secondary side circuit of the flyback converter to supply the standby power, whereby the efficiency of the power converter may be improved.

Power converter integrated with flyback converter

There is provided a power supply unit supplying a standby power by sharing a switch of a main converter. The power supply unit includes: a main converter, and a standby converter. The main converter controls a current flowing in a primary side winding of a main transformer and supplies a main power through a secondary side winding of the main transformer. The standby converter controls a current flowing in a primary side winding of a standby transformer and supplies a standby power through a secondary side winding of the standby transformer, and a portion of a plurality of switches of the main converter is included in switches of the standby converter.
