A display device includes a fingerprint sensor layer that receives light reflected by an external object; a substrate disposed on the fingerprint sensor layer; an optical pattern layer disposed on the substrate and that includes a light blocking portion and a light transmitting portion that passes through the light blocking portion in one direction; a first light transmitting layer with a first refractive index and that is disposed on the light blocking portion; a second light transmitting layer with a second refractive index different from the first refractive index and that is disposed on the first light transmitting layer; and a light emitting element layer disposed on the second light transmitting layer.

A display device includes: a substrate; a bank layer on the substrate, and defining a light-emitting area; an organic light-emitting layer in the light-emitting area; a thin-film sealing layer covering the organic light-emitting layer and the bank layer; an inorganic layer including a base part on the thin-film sealing layer, and a protruding pattern part protruding from the base part in a thickness direction and including a lateral surface having a reverse taper angle; a first low refractive organic layer on the base part of the inorganic layer; and a high refractive organic layer covering the first low refractive organic layer and the inorganic layer. A lateral surface of the first low refractive organic layer contacts the lateral surface of the protruding pattern part, and an upper surface of the first low refractive organic layer protrudes more than an upper surface of the protruding pattern part in the thickness direction.

A light emitting device may include: a substrate including a plurality of unit light emitting regions; at least one first light emitting element having a first end portion and a second end portion in a first direction; at least one second light emitting element having a first end portion and a second end portion in a second direction intersecting the first direction; a first electrode connected to any one of the first and second end portions of each of the first and second light emitting elements and a second electrode connected to the other of the first and second end portions of each of the first and second light emitting elements; a first alignment line extending along the second direction on the substrate, the first alignment line being connected to the first electrode; and a second alignment line connected to the second electrode.

Light emitting device and display device having same

A display device according to an embodiment includes a pixel electrode disposed on a substrate, a pixel defining layer disposed on the pixel electrode and including a pixel opening overlapping the pixel electrode, an encapsulation layer disposed on the pixel defining layer, a sensing electrode portion disposed on the encapsulation layer, a sensing insulating layer overlapping at least part of the sensing electrode portion, and an adhesive layer disposed on the sensing insulating layer. The sensing insulating layer includes a first region overlapping the sensing electrode portion, and a second region overlapping the pixel opening. A refractive index of the adhesive layer is less than a refractive index of the sensing insulating layer.

Display device

A display device may include a sensor layer, a substrate, a pixel layer, and a black matrix. The sensor layer may include photo sensors. The substrate may be positioned on the sensor layer. The pixel layer may be positioned on the substrate and may include pixels. The substrate may be positioned between the sensor layer and the pixel layer. The pixels may include pixel electrodes. The black matrix may be positioned on the pixel layer, may include first-set openings respectively overlapping with the pixel electrodes, and may include second-set openings not overlapping with any pixel electrodes of the display device in a direction perpendicular to the substrate. The pixel layer may be positioned between the substrate and the black matrix.

An optical sensor includes a substrate, a photoelectric element disposed on the substrate and that includes a first electrode, an intermediate layer disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode disposed on the intermediate layer, a barrier layer disposed on the second electrode, an insulating layer that covers the photoelectric element and the barrier layer, and a bias electrode disposed on the insulating layer and electrically connected to the second electrode. The barrier layer is spaced apart from the first electrode.

A light emitting device including: a substrate; a light emitting element on the substrate, and having a first end and a second end in a longitudinal direction; first and second banks on the substrate and spaced apart from each other with the light emitting element interposed therebetween; a first electrode on the first bank and adjacent to the first end of the light emitting element; a second electrode on the second bank and adjacent to the second end of the light emitting element; a first contact electrode coupling the first electrode and the first end of the light emitting element, and a second contact electrode coupling the second electrode and the second end of the light emitting element. A pressure sensor includes: a base substrate including an embossed pattern; a first conductive layer disposed on the base substrate; a pressure sensitive material layer disposed on the first conductive layer such that its electrical characteristic is varied corresponding to a strain applied thereto, the pressure sensitive material layer including a dielectric and nanoparticles dispersed in the dielectric; and a second conductive layer disposed on the pressure sensitive material layer, wherein the dielectric and the nanoparticle include materials having pyroelectricities of polarities opposite to each other.

A display device includes: a substrate; a light-emitting element on the substrate; a planarization layer on the light-emitting element; a first refractive index layer on the planarization layer and including a total reflection inclination surface totally reflecting light emitted from the light-emitting element in a front direction and a refraction inclination surface refracting light emitted from the light-emitting element in the front direction; a second refractive index layer on the first refractive index layer to be in contact with the refraction inclination surface and having a smaller refractive index than a refractive index of the first refractive index layer; and a third refractive index layer on the first refractive index layer and the second refractive index layer to be in contact with the total reflection inclination surface and having a larger refractive index than the refractive index of the first refractive index layer.

An optical sensor including: a substrate; a circuit element layer disposed on the substrate and including a circuit element; and a photoelectric element layer including a photoelectric element, a self-assembled monolayer, and a bias electrode connected to the photoelectric element, wherein the photoelectric element is connected to the circuit element, and wherein the self-assembled monolayer is disposed on the photoelectric element.
