A thermal management system for a vehicle includes a first refrigeration cycle thermally connected to a passenger compartment and including a first refrigerant loop, a battery cooling sub-system thermally connected to a battery and including a battery coolant loop, and a second refrigeration cycle thermally connected to the first refrigeration cycle and the battery cooling sub-system and including a second refrigerant loop. The second refrigeration cycle may include an upstream-side heat exchanger configured to selectively transfer heat between the first refrigerant loop and the second refrigerant loop, and a downstream-side heat exchanger configured to transfer heat between the battery coolant loop and the second refrigerant loop.

An embodiment vehicle thermal management system includes a first refrigeration cycle including a first refrigerant loop in which a first refrigerant is circulated, a battery cooling subsystem including a battery coolant loop in which a battery-side coolant is circulated, wherein the battery coolant loop is fluidly connected to a battery, a second refrigeration cycle including a second refrigerant loop in which a second refrigerant is circulated, the second refrigeration cycle comprising a condenser thermally connected to the battery cooling subsystem, a refrigerant chiller thermally connecting the first refrigeration cycle and the second refrigeration cycle, and a battery chiller thermally connecting the second refrigeration cycle and the battery cooling subsystem, wherein the condenser is located on a downstream side of the battery chiller in the second refrigerant loop.

Vehicle thermal management system

A method for controlling heating of a vehicle thermal management system including an HVAC subsystem may include: determining, by a controller, a target temperature for heating a passenger compartment of a vehicle when the HVAC subsystem operates in heating mode; determining, by the controller, whether an internal temperature of the passenger compartment is lower than the target temperature; adjusting, by the controller, an opening amount of a heating-side expansion valve of the HVAC subsystem to a first opening amount and opening the heating-side expansion valve when the internal temperature is lower than the desired target temperature; and decreasing, by the controller, RPM of a compressor of the HVAC subsystem when the internal temperature is higher than or equal to the desired target temperature. The first opening amount is an opening amount of the heating-side expansion valve with which a heat capacity generated by a heating operation of the HVAC subsystem reaches a maximum heat capacity.

Method for controlling heating of vehicle thermal management system

A method is provided and includes activating, by a controller, a compressor of an HVAC subsystem when heating of a passenger compartment is required and determining whether a heat rejection from a powertrain component is greater than or equal to a reference heat rejection. A powertrain-side pump is activated and a battery-side pump is stopped when the heat rejection is greater than or equal to the reference heat rejection. A refrigerant circulating in the HVAC subsystem exchanges heat with a powertrain coolant having absorbed heat from the powertrain component.

A vehicle thermal management system, may include an HVAC subsystem including a first compressor and a first refrigeration cycle including a first refrigerant loop fluidly connected to the first compressor; a battery cooling subsystem including a battery coolant loop fluidly connected to a battery pack; a powertrain cooling subsystem including a powertrain coolant loop fluidly connected to a powertrain component; a second refrigeration cycle including a second compressor, a condenser located on the downstream side of the second compressor, and a second refrigerant loop fluidly connected to the condenser; a refrigerant chiller mounted between the first refrigeration cycle and the second refrigeration cycle and configured to transfer heat between the first refrigeration cycle and the second refrigeration cycle; and a battery chiller mounted between the second refrigeration cycle and the battery coolant loop and configured to transfer heat between the second refrigeration cycle and the battery coolant loop. The condenser of the second refrigeration cycle is thermally connected to at least one of the battery coolant loop and the powertrain coolant loop.

A rechargeable type callus removal instrument is disclosed, that includes a main body having a flaring tube shape with one side opened. The instrument can include a callus storage fitted around the motor shaft of an internal motor that rotates with rotation of the motor shaft, thereby collecting calluses separated from a user's foot therein. A filing cap can cover an upper surface of the callus storage for removing calluses on the user's foot while rotating with the callus storage in contact with a callus surface of the foot. A guide member can be included to assist with forming an exterior barrier such that the calluses being removed by the filing cap are collected in the callus storage without scattering about to the outside. The callus removal instrument enables callus removal using a rotational force of a motor through electric recharging with an improved portability while preventing water infiltration.
