A front electrode for solar cells and a solar cell, the front electrode including a stepped structure at an outermost surface thereof, wherein the stepped structure is composed of n stages, in which n is an integer of 3 or greater, and an nstage has a smaller cross-sectional area than an (n&#x2212;1)stage such that the (n&#x2212;1)stage is partially exposed, and the stepped structure occupies about 5% to about 100% of a total surface area of the outermost surface.

Front electrode for solar cell and solar cell including the same

A method of manufacturing a finger electrode for a solar cell including printing a conductive paste on one surface of a substrate using a print mask having an aperture ratio of about 65% or more, and baking the printed conductive paste. The conductive paste includes a conductive powder, a glass frit, and an organic vehicle. The organic vehicle includes a solvent having a vapor pressure of about 0.1 Pa to about 500 Pa at room temperature and a flash point of about 90&#xb0; C. to about 150&#xb0; C.

Method of manufacturing a finger electrode for a solar cell

A composition for solar cell electrodes including a conductive powder, a glass frit, and an organic vehicle. The glass frit contains tellurium (Te), sodium (Na), zinc (Zn), and at least one of lead (Pb) and bismuth (Bi). A molar ratio of the sum of lead and bismuth to zinc ranges from about 1 to about 20. A molar ratio of tellurium to sodium ranges from about 1 to about 15.
