An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display device and a method of manufacturing the same. The device includes a substrate, a thin film transistor (TFT) on the substrate and including an active layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode, a first pixel electrode coupled to one of the source and drain electrodes, a rough portion on the first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode on the rough portion and having a rough pattern, an intermediate layer on the second pixel electrode including an organic emission layer (EML), and an opposing electrode on the intermediate layer.

Organic light emitting diode display device and method of manufacturing the same

An organic light-emitting display device includes a substrate. A buffer layer is formed on the substrate. A thin film transistor is disposed on the buffer layer. The thin film transistor includes an active layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, a drain electrode, a first insulating layer, and a second insulating layer. An uneven pattern is formed by patterning the buffer layer. A first pixel electrode is disposed in an opening formed in the second insulating layer. The first pixel electrode includes a transparent conductive oxide. A second pixel electrode is disposed on the first pixel electrode. The second pixel electrode includes a semi-transmissive layer. An organic lighting-emitting layer is formed on the second pixel electrode. An opposite electrode is formed on the organic lighting-emitting layer.

Organic light-emitting display device and method of manufacturing the same

A thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate is provided that includes a TFT on a substrate. The TFT can include an active layer, gate electrode, source electrode, drain electrode, first insulating layer between the active layer and the gate electrode, and second insulating layer between the gate electrode and the source and drain electrodes. A pixel electrode is disposed on the first and second insulating layers. A capacitor including a lower electrode is disposed on a same layer as the gate electrode and an upper electrode. A third insulating layer directly between the second insulating layer and the pixel electrode and between the lower electrode and the upper electrode. A fourth insulating layer covers the source electrode, the drain electrode, and the upper electrode, and exposes the pixel electrode and can further expose a pad electrode.

Method of manufacturing thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate

An organic light emitting display device includes a sub-pixel having a first electrode and a second electrode arranged on a substrate, the first and second electrodes face each other, a light emission layer interposed between the first and second electrodes, and a mirror unit that corresponds to a portion of the light emission layer. The mirror unit is buried in a first part of a base surface of the sub-pixel such that a side of the mirror unit facing the light emission layer is aligned with a side of a second part of the base surface that faces the light emission layer and that excludes the mirror unit.

Organic light emitting display and method of manufacturing the same

Provided are an organic light-emitting display apparatus having superior light efficiency and ease of manufacture, as well as a method of manufacturing the same. The organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate; a pixel electrode disposed on a pixel region of the substrate; a first insulating layer that is interposed between the substrate and the pixel electrode and that has a first discontinuous region extending along at least a portion of an edge of the pixel electrode; an intermediate layer that is disposed on the pixel electrode and that includes an emission layer; and an opposite electrode that covers the intermediate layer and at least a portion of the first discontinuous region, so that a shortest distance to the substrate in at least a portion of the first discontinuous region is shorter than a shortest distance between the pixel electrode and the substrate.

Organic light-emitting display apparatus and method of manufacturing the same

A backplane for a display device and the display device are disclosed. In one aspect, the backplane includes a substrate, an active layer formed over the substrate including a channel region, a source region contacting a first side of the channel region, and a drain region contacting a second side of the channel region. The backplane further includes a gate electrode formed adjacent to the channel region, a source electrode electrically connected to the source region, and a drain electrode electrically connected to the drain region. The active layer includes a plurality of heat radiation pins that extend in a direction of the thickness of the active layer.

An array test method of an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display substrate is provided. The OLED display substrate includes a plurality of pixel circuits. Each pixel circuit includes an anode, a first transistor for transmitting a data signal that controls an amount of light emission of an OLED according to a scan signal, a driving transistor for receiving the data signal, generating a driving current corresponding to the data signal, and transmitting the driving current to the OLED, and a second transistor for diode-connecting a gate electrode and a drain electrode of the driving transistor. The array test method includes: injecting electrons or holes that generate an initialization voltage into the anode by turning on the second transistor; radiating electron beams at the anode; and determining whether or not the driving transistor performs normal operation from an amount of secondary electrons emitted from the anode.

A laser crystallization system is disclosed. In one embodiment, the laser crystallization system includes i) a mother substrate including first, second, and third display regions sequentially arranged in a first direction and ii) a stage for supporting the mother substrate and moving in the first direction and in a second direction. The system also includes i) a first laser irradiation unit for irradiating a first laser beam having a width greater than or identical to a width of a side of one of the display regions in the first direction and ii) a second laser irradiation unit spaced apart from the first laser irradiation unit and irradiating a second laser beam having a width greater than or identical to the width of the side in the first direction. Furthermore, the first and second laser beams may correspond to widths of sides of the first and third display regions.

A method for encrypting content includes using a plurality of different encryption schemes to produce encrypted content. Encryption information is provided so as to indicate which of the plurality of different encryption schemes is used on portions of the content that was encrypted. The decryption involves using the encryption information to help control the decryption so that the correct one of a plurality of different decryption schemes is applied to the proper portions of the encrypted content.

The apparatus includes a first optical system of the plurality of optical systems that receives a first time-divided laser beam and irradiates a first laser slit beam along a first irradiation direction, and a second optical system of the plurality of optical systems that receives a second time-divided laser beam and irradiates a second laser slit beam along a second irradiation direction that is parallel with the first irradiation direction. The first laser slit beam and the second laser slit beam crystallize partial areas at a same location in the respective pixel areas.
