The apparatus includes: an image capturing unit for photographing a position identification tag using a camera; a distance measuring unit for measuring a distance to a position identification tag; an incident angle measuring unit for measuring a photographing angle at a visual point; an image analyzing unit for reading the photographed image from the image capturing unit, and requesting location information corresponding to the read information to a position recognition server; and a location awareness unit for estimating a current location using the distance to the position identification tag, the photographing angle of the position identification tag, and the location information corresponding to the read information by the image analyzing unit.

An air conditioner for a vehicle includes an air conditioner case having an evaporator and a heater core installed therein and having a blower installed at an inlet thereof; a movable filter moving between an air-filtering location and an air-non-filtering location of the air conditioner case; a judging device judging whether air blown by the blower inside the air conditioner case is contaminated; and a driving device moving the movable filter to the air-filtering location when the judging device determines that the air is contaminated and to the air-non-filtering location when the judging device determines that the air is not contaminated. Therefore, when it is determined that the air is contaminated, the movable filter is moved to the air-filtering location. When it is determined that the air is not contaminated, the movable filter is moved to the air-non-filtering location.

The present invention relates to a location recognition device for recognizing a location by a mobile terminal having a camera and a method thereof. In the above method, the location recognition device photographs a location recognition tag storing location recognition information, and measures a distance to the location recognition tag. Subsequently, the location recognition device analyzes an image of the photographed location recognition tag, and recognizes location information corresponding to the location recognition tag and direction information of the photographed location recognition tag. Accordingly, a location of the mobile terminal is measured by using information of the measured distance and the recognized location information and direction information. In this case, an absolute location coordinate or a logic location coordinate is stored in the location recognition tag. In addition, the location recognition tags are arranged so that using the location recognition tags achieves a desired precision in a predetermined physical area.

Method for recognizing location using built-in camera and device thereof

The optimal direction-based flooding method for relaying a broadcast message for mobile ad-hoc networks comprises (a) an original source node selecting a first relay node; (b) selecting a message relaying direction into an area divided by a predetermined interval; (c) relaying the broadcast message by selecting the first relay node set for each message relaying direction; and (d) selecting a next relay node and relaying the broadcast message received by the previously selected relay node. Duplicated broadcast message transmissions, and competition and collision among the nodes to obtain transmission media, are reduced by transmitting the broadcast message using a minimum number of nodes in a mobile ad-hoc network including nodes having limited resources.

Optimal direction-based flooding method for mobile ad-hoc networks

Disclosed is a method for controlling unidirectional link connection in a mobile ad hoc network which comprises: mobile nodes including transmission power information in a beacon message that is periodically transmitted; using the information to sense a unidirectional link and maintain residual power information with regard to the corresponding node, and providing unidirectional link connectivity in the link layer to an upper layer through a filtering process using broadcasting and residual power information. Hence, the unidirectional links generated in the mobile ad hoc network may be accurately sensed using transmission power loss on a transmission path, and the frames generated in the link layer in the reverse direction of the unidirectional links may be transmitted.
