A compression release type engine brake includes a first opening unit and a second opening unit each including an exhaust rocker arm, an adjusting screw provided at an end portion of the exhaust rocker arm, a brake module in which brake oil is selectively and a brake piston mount portion is formed therein, a brake piston which is selectively protruded according to the oil supply inside the brake module, a reset member selectively exhausting the oil in the brake module, and a valve bridge connected to the brake piston and provided with an exhaust valve, and wherein a rocker arm protrusion is formed in the exhaust rocker arm of at least one of the first opening unit and the second opening unit, and the shaft spring presses the rocker arm protrusion and adjusts a distance between the first opening unit and the second opening unit.

Compression release type engine brake

A compression-release engine brake for opening an exhaust valve at an end of a compression stroke for performing braking function includes: an exhaust rocker arm, a valve bridge that is connected to a pair of exhaust valves, and of which a pair of rotation preventers protruded outward are formed the valve bridge, a socket module includes a housing in which a first space where the engine brake oil flows in and a second space where the engine brake oil is exhausted and a reset valve is disposed are formed, and the socket module whose length become longer relatively according to the inflow of the engine brake oil, and a reset guide module selectively pushing the reset valve to exhaust the engine brake oil inside the housing.

Compression-release type engine brake

A compression release type engine brake includes an exhaust rocker arm including a roller which is mounted at one end portion thereof, and the exhaust rocker arm rotating around a rocker arm shaft by the rotation of the exhaust cam, a valve bridge disposed on the other end portion of the exhaust rocker arm and connected to an exhaust valve, a brake module mounted between the exhaust rocker arm and the valve bridge, contacting with the roller and the brake cam lobe according to inflow of selectively supplied operation oil to open the exhaust valve by the exhaust cam, and the brake module including a reset valve closing operation oil inside therein, and a reset piston slidably mounted on the second end portion of the exhaust rocker arm and protruding out of the second end portion of the exhaust rocker arm according to the supply of reset oil to push the reset valve to expel the operation oil in the brake module outwards.

A socket module for a compression release engine brake is provided between an exhaust rocker arm rotating with respect to a rocker arm shaft and a valve bridge in contact with an exhaust valve of an engine. In particular, the socket module includes: a housing which includes an inlet through which brake oil is introduced, a brake piston mounting portion, and a reset member mounting portion communicated with the brake piston mounting portion; a brake piston that is provided to be movable in the brake piston mounting portion; and a reset member that is provided in the reset member mounting portion and that discharges brake oil by selectively contacting a push pin coupled to an upper portion of a cylinder head of the engine.

A hydraulic type scissors gear may include a first gear having a working chamber formed therein and oil supplied into the working chamber; a second gear provided to be relatively rotatable coaxially with a side surface of the first gear; and a piston supplied with the oil supplied into the working chamber, and moved in the working chamber by pressure of the oil supplied thereinto to apply a force that pushes the second gear in a rotation direction opposite to a rotation direction of the first gear to rotate the second gear.

A valve opening and closing apparatus includes a rocker arm which is in contact with a cam and causes a valve to be opened and closed using rotation of the cam. In particular, the valve opening and closing apparatus includes an eccentricity-creating unit which is disposed on the rocker arm and changes an eccentric position using rotation. A contact-maintaining unit of the valve opening and closing apparatus is disposed between the rocker arm and the eccentricity-creating unit so as to maintain the contact between the cam and the rocker arm when the cam is rotating.

A variable valve lift apparatus includes a rocker arm having a rocker arm shaft penetrating therethrough. One portion of the rocker arm is supported by a cam shaft and another portion thereof contacts an upper end of an intake valve or an exhaust valve to open and close the intake valve or the exhaust valve. An actuator is disposed at an end of the rocker arm and protrudes toward the intake valve or the exhaust valve depending on an oil pressure applied to change an opening of the intake valve or the exhaust valve. A control valve applies the oil pressure to the actuator to maintain an opened state of the intake valve or the exhaust valve when the intake valve or the exhaust valve is closed.

A variable valve lift device and a valve apparatus for a vehicle engine may include a valve configured to open/close a combustion chamber, a cam having a predetermined cam profile and rotatable by receiving a power generated in the combustion chamber, a cam side rocker arm rotatable by the cam, a rocker shaft penetratively mounted into the cam side rocker arm, a valve side rocker arm installed on the rocker shaft to apply a pressure for opening the valve while being turned by the cam side rocker arm, a hydraulic interval adjustment device installed in the cam side rocker arm to adjust an interval between the cam side rocker arm and the valve side rocker arm, and a hydraulic interval maintaining device configured to maintain the interval between the cam side rocker arm and the valve side rocker arm adjusted by the hydraulic interval adjustment device.

An engine brake may include a rocker shaft, a rocker arm pivoting around the rocker shaft, an actuator piston disposed to the rocker arm and selectively protruded there from, a stopper disposed to a corresponding position of the actuator piston for the rocker arm to open a valve when the actuator piston is protruded and a hydraulic pressure supply portion selectively supplying hydraulic pressure to the actuator piston.
