Disclosed is a method for connecting a phone call during a Push To Talk (PTT) call traffic in a mobile communication system. The method comprises the steps of searching for a subscriber information of a selected current subscriber from both a PTT subscriber information and a subscriber group list, if a predetermined phone call key has been input; determining if the subscriber information of the selected current subscriber which has been searched from the PTT subscriber information and the subscriber group list is matched to a subscriber information stored in an address registry to confirm the matched subscriber information of the address registry; and terminating the PTT session of the PTT call traffic, connecting the phone call to the selected current subscriber's phone number based on the matched subscriber information of the address registry to perform the phone call traffic.

Voice call connection method during a push to talk call in a mobile communication system

A method for communicating using a Push To Talk (PTT) call traffic scheme in a mobile communication system. The method comprises the steps of selecting at least one subscriber with whom a calling user wants to communicate through the PTT call traffic scheme, determining if a Push To Data (PTD) is to be transmitted when sending a PTT call request, and selecting the PTD to be transmitted if the PTD is to be transmitted, in a calling mobile communication terminal, transmitting the PTD and the PTT call request message from the calling mobile communication terminal to at least one called mobile communication terminal of the selected subscriber via a PTT server, outputting contents of the PTD and indicating reception of the PTT call request to the selected subscriber by the called mobile communication terminal, when receiving the PTD and the PTT call request; and transmitting a PTT call request acceptance message to the PTT server to allow the calling and the called mobile communication terminals to communicate with each other through the PTT call traffic if the at least one called mobile communication terminal inputs the PTT call request acceptance key by the subscriber's operation.

Method of communicating using a push to talk scheme in a mobile communication system

A method for performing a push to talk (PTT) communication service in a portable terminal. The method comprises entering a PTT communication mode and providing a PTT application, when a function key and an abbreviated number key for performing the PTT communication service are input to the portable terminal and performing the PTT communication service based on subscriber information of the PTT communication service corresponding to the input abbreviated numbers. Several steps of key inputs and menu selections can be removed because, the method requires only a few abbreviated number for reflecting all the necessary steps stored previously in the memory such that it can provide an improved convenience and simplicity of the operation for the PTT communication service to the users.

Method for PTT service in the push to talk portable terminal

A method of providing a Push-To-Talk (PTT) service is provided. In a PTT service provided through a PTT server to a PTT portable terminal, the PTT portable terminal requests termination of its participation in a PTT group call during the PTT group call takes place among at least three members, requests recording of the PTT group call to the PTT server, and ends a PTT application program. When the PTT group call is terminated among the remaining members, the PTT portable terminal receives from the PTT server a notification message indicating that the PTT group call has been recorded and plays the recorded PTT group call.

A method and apparatus for directly connecting an incoming telephone call to a user's telephone located at an external location when the user is not present with an automatic answering telephone connected to a telephone line having three-party call service the apparatus effects the steps of: transmitting an information message for enabling a caller to select an automatic connection mode to the external and, after transmitting the information message in the information transmission step, when an automatic connection mode selection key has been inputted by the caller, holding the line during a preset time and reading and dialing the telephone number of the external location. When a speech path is formed by detection of a ringback tone after performance of the dialing, transmitting an information message requesting the user to input the selection key for receiving the call; and after transmitting the information message in the selection key input information message transmission step and, when the selection key for receiving call is inputted, executing the connection of the caller to the user telephone, thereby enabling a conversation by telephone.
