The present invention relates to an organic-inorganic composite comprising bacteria and transition metal oxides and a method of manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an organic-inorganic composite comprising bacteria and transition metal oxides manufactured by attaching cationic transition metal precursor to bacterial surface, wherein the bacteria with high negative charge on its surface is used as a template, refluxing the bacteria and transition metal ions at room temperature in the presence of sodium borohydride (NaBH), and inducing reduction/spontaneous oxidation, thereby having an excellent high capacity electrochemical properties, and a method of manufacturing the same. Therefore, the method of manufacturing the organic-inorganic composite according to the present invention has advantages that it enables to reduce manufacturing cost and the time required therein, mass production, low temperature synthesis, synthesis of uniform nano-structures, control of one dimensional type, be applied to other metal oxides, thus being expected to be used as parts in other electrochemical fields including lithium secondary batteries, super capacitor, nanoelectro-optical system, catalyst and the like.

Bacteria/transition metal oxides organic-inorganic composite and method for manufacturing the same

An apparatus for fabricating ZnO nanostructures includes a heating element, a horizontal reaction tube having an inlet and an outlet. The reaction tube is positioned inside the interior cavity of the heating element with the inlet disposed to introduce a carrier gas into the reaction tube. The apparatus includes a source of a carrier gas in flow communication with the inlet, a container within the reaction tube that is disposed to receive and contain source materials comprising ZnO and graphite. An array of solid substrates is located on the container above the source materials. Adjacent substrates in the array are positioned with a space in between to allow the carrier gas to impinge on the source materials in the container.

Apparatus for synthesis of ZnO nano-structured materials

Disclosed are a method of fabricating ZnO nanostructures and its apparatus, and more particularly, to a method of fabricating ZnO nanostructures from Zn gas, which is produced by a reduction process between ZnO powder and graphite, on a silicon substrate, wherein various types of nanostructures are reproducibly generated by adjusting the processing temperature and the mixed ratio between oxygen and argon gases, which are introduced into the interior of a reaction tube as carrier gases, and its apparatus.

Synthesis of ZnO nano-structured materials and its apparatus

Low dielectric constant dielectric ceramics for a borosilicate-based low temperature fired multi-layer substrate is disclosed which can be fired at a wide temperature range of above and below 900&#xb0; C. and exhibits a low loss electrical property. By controlling the types and addition amount of the alkaline earth metal oxide, the linear shrinkage behavior can be considerably controlled while maintaining the electrical property unchanged. The composition facilitates matching a linear shrinkage with a heterogeneous material having certain shrinkage characteristics.

Low dielectric constant low temperature fired ceramics

A dielectric composition that can be fired at a temperature of below 900&#xb0; C. The dielectric composition has a dielectric constant of 25&#x2013;35 and a quality factor (Qxf) of 6,000&#x2013;20,000 GHz. The composition comprises 3&#x2013;16 wt % of KO&#x2014;NaO&#x2014;LiO&#x2014;BO&#x2014;SiOsystem glass frit and 84&#x2013;97 wt % of BaO&#x2014;TiOsystem dielectric ceramics. The composition can be effectively applied to construct a part of a ceramic multi-layer packaging as a resonator form such as a filter or an antenna, etc.
