A method for controlling an organic electro luminescence display device, the device including a display panel including a plurality of data lines that cross a plurality of scan lines, and including electro luminescence elements arranged at intersections of the plurality of data lines and the plurality of scan lines; a pre-charge driver configured to select one of a plurality of pre-charge current levels in accordance with a gray level of incoming data, and supply a pre-charge current, corresponding to the selected one of the plurality of pre-charge current levels, to the electro luminescence elements via the plurality of data lines prior to supplying a data current, corresponding to the incoming data, to the electro luminescence elements, so as to pre-charge the electro luminescence elements; and a data driver configured to subsequently supply the data current to the pre-charged electro luminescence elements via the plurality of data lines.

Organic electro luminescence display device and driving method thereof

The present invention relates to an electroluminescent device, particularly to an organic electroluminescent device reliably receiving driving voltage from a voltage source, and a method of driving the same. A driving circuit of the electroluminescent device includes first to third sub-pixels formed on crossing areas of data lines and scan lines, a pre-charge driving circuit which applies pre-charge current to the data lines of the first to third sub-pixels and a data driving circuit which applies data current to the pre-charged data lines. The pre-charge current is applied to the first to third sub-pixels in different time. The organic electroluminescent device of the present invention and the method of driving the same can reliably receive the driving voltage from the voltage source, and prevent quick flames of the device.

An electro-luminescence display panel and a driving method thereof for increasing a light-emitting time of a pixel as well as reducing power consumption are disclosed. In the electro-luminescence display panel, a pixel matrix has a plurality of electro-luminescence cells connected between scan lines and data lines. A scan driver drives the scan line. A data driver pre-charges the data lines into a middle voltage of data signals and then supplies corresponding data signals.

There is disclosed an electro-luminescence display device that is adaptive for preventing picture quality deterioration by operating a thin film transistor for an electro-luminescence cell drive at a non-saturation area to compensate a threshold voltage, and a driving method thereof. Electro-luminescence display device and driving method thereof

The present invention relates to a COG-typed organic electroluminescent device including dummy data lines formed at different location from data lines. The COG-typed organic electroluminescent cell having a plurality of pixels formed in the luminescent areas which are cross areas of indium tin oxide films (ITO films) and metal line layers includes data line pads, dummy data lines, and a dummy data line connecting section. The data line pads each are connected to one end of the ITO films. The dummy data lines each are connected to the other end of the ITO films. The dummy data line connecting section connects the dummy data lines. In the cell, the dummy lines are formed separately from the pads, and thus the number of pins may be reduced.

COG-typed organic electroluminescent cell

The present invention relates to a light emitting device for preventing cross-talk phenomenon. The light emitting device includes a plurality of pixels and a scan driving circuit. The pixels are formed in cross areas of data lines and scan lines. The scan driving circuit couples at least one scan line to a first voltage source having a first voltage during a first time, couples the scan line to a second voltage source having a second voltage during a second time, and couples the scan line to a third voltage source having a third voltage during a third time. Here, the second voltage is a voltage between the first voltage and the third voltage. The light emitting device discharges the data lines to the same level as data current irrespective of precharge current, and thus cross-talk phenomenon is not occurred to the light emitting device.
