An interior permanent magnet electric motor forms a buried angle of a left permanent magnet of a slot part of a rotor differently from a buried angle of a right permanent magnet of the slot part of the rotor, so as to reduce torque ripple while sufficiently maintaining motor efficiency as compared to an I-type rotor to effectively improve noise, vibration, and harshness performance.

A wound rotor motor is provided, in which a rotary shaft is arranged in the vertical direction, to immerse lower coil portions of a stator and a rotor in cooling oil, thereby improving the cooling effect beyond that of a conventional configuration, in which lower coil portions are partially immersed, and consequently decreasing the capacity of an oil pump. A wound rotor motor is provided, in which a rotary shaft is arranged in the vertical direction and has therein a flow passage, through which cooling oil moves up from the region below the rotor and is sprayed to the region above the rotor by centrifugal force generated by rotation of the rotor, thereby enhancing the motor-cooling effect, decreasing the frictional loss of the rotor due to the cooling oil, and consequently improving the operational efficiency of the motor.

An internal permanent magnet motor may include a stator of a annular shape, and a rotor coaxially disposed inside the stator by positioned between a gap between the rotor and the stator and having a plurality of permanent magnets embedded therein and spaced from each other in a circumferential direction along a circumference of the rotor, wherein the stator has a plurality of first notches formed on an internal circumferential surface facing the rotor in a height direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction thereof, and the rotor has a plurality of second notches formed on an external circumferential surface facing the stator in a height direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction thereof.

A direct-cooling stator core assembly having cooling channels so as to directly cool a stator core and a wound coil, and a driving motor for a vehicle including the same, are provided. The direct-cooling stator core assembly includes a stator core having an outer surface and a plurality of core recesses formed in the outer surface in a longitudinal direction. The direct-cooling stator core assembly further includes a cooling fluid supply member configured to supply cooling fluid to the core recesses in the stator core. In the direct-cooling stator core assembly, when cooling fluid is flowing through the core recesses, the cooling fluid flowing through the core recesses directly cools the stator core.
