A heat exchange block () for a motor vehicle, includes at least one heat exchanger (), wherein the block () is intended to be disposed behind a front grille () of a vehicle and to be traversed by air originating from an opening in the grille. The block includes a group of louvers () that can move between an open position and a closed position in order to modulate the flow of air (A) passing through the heat exchanger () and a channel () that can be disposed between the opening in the grille and the heat exchange block (). The heat exchange block is suitable for any motor vehicle, but, in particular, hybrid and electric vehicles.

The invention concerns a device for fixing a piece of equipment for a motor vehicle, in particular a heat exchanger ( ), on a structural element of the vehicle ( ) such as a front surface module. The invention is characterised in that the device comprises at least two shoes ( ) arranged on either side of the piece of equipment ( ), while the structural element ( ) comprises at least two substantially parallel internal edges ( ) defining an open part ( ) wherein is mounted the piece of equipment ( ). Each shoe is supported on one of the edges ( ) and on an external top surface ( ) of the piece of equipment and made in a deformable material such that the piece of equipment ( ) is force-mounted between the shoes ( ).

Device for fixing a piece of equipment, in particular a heat exchanger, on a motor vehicle structural element

The invention concerns a device wherein the equipment and the support formed by the motor vehicle structural element are assembled in at least one point by to matching co-operating element. The equipment co-operating element is elastically deformable for being spaced from or brought close to the support, to enable direct interlocking at said point for mounting with means for cushioning the equipment on the support. The equipment is in particular a heat exchanger comprising an array of tubes assembled at each of their opposite ends by a collector plate closed by a fluid box, the equipment co-operating element being then a structural part of the fluid box.

A front-face support for various components at the front end of the vehicle has a plastic body overmolded onto a reinforcement enhancing the mechanical strength of the support. The reinforcement is a fabric of fibers, for example glass or carbon fibers, or a cable advantageously composed of steel wires.

The invention concerns a front panel comprising a top metal section extending over the whole width of the panel and provided with means for fixing it to the motor vehicle structural elements, and at least a central jamb including means to be fixed to a hood lock and a cowl-beam of the vehicle. The invention concerns a front panel comprising a top metal section extending over the whole width of the panel and provided with holes for fixing it to the motor vehicle structural elements, and a metal support provided with a hole for fixing it to other structural elements or fittings of the vehicle. The section and the support are separate parts, mechanically interlocked by a plastic material jointly overmoulded on the section and the support. Said structure enables in particular the use of sections with closed cross section, such as extruded or hydroformed sections. The support consists in particular of a center jamb including a hole for being fixed to a hood lock and to a cowl beam of the vehicle.

The invention concerns a front panel comprising a plastic frame reinforced by a top metal section extending over the whole width of the panel and provided with structure for fixing it to the vehicle structural elements. The section is a directly mounted section and force-fitted on a crosspiece of the plastic frame, both the section and the crosspiece comprising mutually fitting structure and co-operating elements for crimping the section on the crosspiece.
