A multifunction probe for primary references for an aircraft, an associated measuring system, aircraft and method for obtaining physical quantities are disclosed. In one aspect, the multifunction probe includes a base designed to be fastened on the cockpit of an aircraft, a plurality of static pressure taps arranged through the base and connected to pressure measuring devices and an optical window transparent to laser radiation and positioned in the base for the passage of laser radiation through the base. The multifunction probe further includes at least one laser anemometry optical head positioned to take laser anemometry measurements through the optical window and a static temperature probe mounted on the base.

A device for maintaining and analyzing an aerodynamic probe of stagnation pressure type intended to be installed in an aircraft comprises a channel with a first end that is intended to penetrate into the probe, and an ejector fluidly coupled to the channel to create an air depression in said channel relative to the ambient pressure and a closed vessel recovering any particles sucked into the channel, the ejector and closed vessel being external to the probe when the channel is inserted into the probe. The ejector is coupled to a pressurized gas source and ejects gas in proximity to a second end of the channel opposite the first end to suction the air present in the channel and thereby create the air depression in said channel.

A probe for measuring the total pressure of an airflow is intended to equip an aircraft and a method of using the probe. The probe comprises a Pitot tube, two separate heating wires supplied separately and allowing each one to heat an external part of the probe, and means of distribution of a given maximum power to each of the two heating wires as a function of the current temperature of each of the two parts. A method consists in giving priority to the reaching of a predefined minimum temperature of a first of the two parts of the probe by allocating to the first part of the probe a predefined share of the given maximum power for as long as the temperature of the first part is below a predefined minimum temperature.

An inertial system measures the attitude of an aircraft consisting at least in determining the angle of pitch and/or the angle of heading and/or the angle of roll of the aircraft, each of the said angles of attitude being determined by successive double integration of their second derivative. A pair of accelerometers to determine the angle of pitch being are disposed on either side of the centre of gravity along an axis substantially merged with the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. Method and system for determining the attitude of an aircraft by multi-axis accelerometric measurements

The invention relates to a probe for aerodynamic measurement of an airflow. The probe comprises a plate rotating about an axis, a transmitter for transmitting a sound wave and a receiver responsive to the sound wave, the transmitter and the receiver forming two elements which are integrally connected to the plate and are placed at separate positions on the plate, the probe furthermore comprising means for delivering information representing a time of flight of the sound wave between the two elements and a temporal variation of the information. In the case of using the probe on board a helicopter, the rotating plate is advantageously placed at the centre of the rotor of the helicopter while being integrally connected to it. This type of probe makes it possible to carry out aerodynamic measurements even at low airspeeds of the helicopter.
