A device for detecting objects includes a vessel intended to contain the objects. A sensor is configured to capture at least one image of the vessel. A processing device is configured to process at least one captured image by detecting objects of the at least one captured image, extracting characteristics of each detected object, and generating a list of the characteristics of each detected object. A memory stores the generated list, the memory also configured to store a first reference list of object characteristics. The processing device further generates a second list of characteristics from a captured image. The characteristics of each object of the second list are compared with, respectively, the characteristics of each object of the reference list.

Checking device and method based on image processing

This image processing method for the conversion of an image with a first number of bits per pixel, for example 16 bits per pixel, into an image with a second number of bits per pixel, for example 18 bits per pixel, includes generating additional coding bit values for the components (R, G, B) of each pixel starting from the component values of adjacent pixels and generating the converted signal from the additional coding bits.

Image processing method and device

Systems and methods are provided for processing different concurrent tasks by a subsystem managed by a central processor. Each tasks is comprised of successive messages including a first message, intermediate messages, and a last message. Each intermediate message comprises a subtask parameter and a link to the next message that indicates the time when the next message is to be processed. The central processor and the subsystem are connected to a storage memory and several counters associated with respective tasks. The system and method reduce task disruptions of the system.
