A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Funglow is provided. The new cultivar is a spontaneous mutation of the Funray cultivar (non-patented in the United States). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive relatively small bicolored flowers wherein the petals are dark yellow and the disc florets on the distal ends particularly towards the center bear a dark greyed-purple coloration (as illustrated). The infloresence tends to be pyramidal in configuration. The response period of the flowers is approximately eight weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant--Funglow cultivar

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Yellow Bijoux is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a mutation induced by controlled irradiation with x-rays and can be readily distinguished from the parent Snow Bijoux cultivar (U.S. Ser. No. 721,712, filed concurrently herewith). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive yellow flowers of the spider anemone type having a light green center. The yellow tubular ray florets of the Yellow Bijoux cultivar (as illustrated) are substantially different in appearance than those of the Snow Bijoux cultivar which are white. The inflorescence tends to be relatively flat when mature. The response period of the flowers is approximately nine weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut spider anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant--Yellow Bijoux cultivar

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Funbeam is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a mutation induced by controlled irradiation with x-rays and can be readily distinguished from the parent Funshine cultivar (U.S. Ser. No. 719,461, filed concurrently herewith). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive relatively small bicolored flowers wherein the petals are light red-purple instead of white as the Funshine cultivar and the disc florets particularly towards the center bear a more intense and more purple coloration on the distal ends (as illustrated) than the Funshine cultivar. The inflorescence tends to be pyramidal in configuration. The response period of the flowers is approximately seven and one-half weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named ALHA is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a controlled breeding program wherein the Frankfort cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,342) was pollinated by the Penny Lane cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,238). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive yellow spider anemone flowers having a small cushion at the center and tubular ray florets which end in a spoon-like configuration (as illustrated). The disc florets when immature are yellow-green and change to yellow when mature. The inflorescence is of the generally flat capitulum form. The response period of the flowers is approximately eight weeks. Resistance to white rust has been exhibited. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut spider anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant -- ALHA cultivar

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Jannel is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a controlled breeding program wherein the Green Peas cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,735) was pollinated by the Keystone cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 5,946). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive cream white flowers of the pompon type which have a green center (as illustrated). The inflorescence tends to be pyramidal in configuration. The response period of the flowers is approximately nine weeks. Reduced susceptibility to leaf miner is exhibited. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut decorative spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant -- Jannel cultivar

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Touch is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a controlled breeding program wherein the Dinara variety (non-patented in the United States) was pollinated by the Penny Lane cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,238). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive bicolored single anemone flowers wherein the petals are yellow and the disc florets particularly towards the center of the cushion bear a distinctive orange-brown coloration (as illustrated). The inflorescence tends to be of the flat capitulum type when mature. The response period of the flowers is approximately eight weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant -- Touch cultivar

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Bayfrank is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a controlled breeding program wherein the Bijoux cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,241) was pollinated by an unnamed seedling formed by the crossing of the Fleur cultivar (non-patented in the United States) by the Delta cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 5,815). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive relatively large anemone pink-purple flowers having a darker flower center (as illustrated). The inflorescence tends to assume a generally flat capitulum form when mature. The response period of the flowers is approximately eigh weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Improved Funshine is provided. The new cultivar is a spontaneous mutation of the Funshine cultivar (U.S. Ser. No. 07/719,461, filed concurrently herewith). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive relatively small bicolored flowers wherein the petals are white and the disc florets on the distal ends particularly towards the center bear a stronger and more intense red coloration than the Funshine cultivar (as illustrated). Also, the new cultivar exhibits more vigor than the Funshine cultivar. The inflorescence tends to be pyramidal in configuration. The response period of the flowers is approximately seven and one-half weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant -- Improved Funshine cultivar

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Funset is provided. The new cultivar is a spontaneous mutation of the Funshine cultivar (U.S. Ser. No. 07/719,461, filed concurrently herewith) and can be readily distinguished from its parent cultivar. More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive relatively small bicolored flowers wherein the petals are very light-red instead of white as the Funshine cultivar and the disc florets on the distal ends particularly towards the center bear an orange-red coloration (as illustrated) instead of the light-red coloration of the Funshine cultivar. The inflorescence tends to be pyramidal in configuration. The response period of the flowers is approximately seven and one-half weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Funshine is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a controlled breeding program wherein an unnamed plant designated 83.598 was pollinated by the Penny Lane cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,238). More specifically, the new cultivar form attractive relatively small bicolored flowers wherein the petals are white and the disc florets particularly towards the center bear light-red coloration on the distal ends (as illustrated). The inflorescence tends to be pyramidal in configuration. The response period of the flowers is approximately seven and one-half weeks. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut anemone spray under greenhouse conditions.

A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named Giraffe is provided. The new cultivar was the result of a controlled breeding program wherein the Buffalo cultivar (non-patented in the United States) was pollinated by an unnamed seedling formed by crossing the Delta cultivar (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 5,815) by the BZN cultivar (non-patented in the United States). More specifically, the new cultivar forms attractive relatively large clear white single flowers having a yellow-green center (as illustrated). The inflorescence commonly exhibits two or three rows of petals. The response period of the flowers is approximately eight and one-half weeks. Resistance to white rust is exhibited. The new cultivar is particularly suited for use in the production of a cut single spray under greenhouse conditions.

Chrysanthemum plant--Giraffe cultivar

A Chrysanthemum cultivar named Topper, having flat capitulum form and single capitulum type, and clear white ray florets. The disc florets are yellow-green when immature, maturing to yellow, with some green remaining in the center of the disc florets.

A Chrysanthemum cultivar named Broadway, having generally flat capitulum form and single capitulum type, light pink ray floret color, and a dark anthocyanin dot in the center of the disc florets.
