The invention relates to damped elastic supports, comprising essentially, between two bases fixable to assemblies to be supported on one another, on the one hand a flexible wall defining one chamber designed to cooperate with another chamber and, on the other hand, at least one fluid-flow restricting orifice. This assembly is also completed outwardly by two elastic domes of elastomer combined with one mass. The assembly of this mass with another mass and with the damper device and the elastic membranes is calculated so as to permit a certain flexibility to be maintained, both for low frequencies and high frequencies. The invention is particularly applicable to automobile engine supports.

Elastic supports, notably for vehicle engine suspension

The seal is designed to ensure fluid-tightness between the cone and the cup of a conical roller bearing. The seal includes an armature, having a frustoconic bearing surface, fastenable with the cone, a collar stop mounted slidably along the armature and fast to a second bearing surface, and an annular spring mounted in extension on the first bearing surface and supported against the second bearing surface so as to urge these two bearing surfaces constantly into relative axial separation and to be rollable or slidable on the first bearing surface when the collar stop is moved axially with respect to the armature.

Seals of the type designed to ensure fluid-tightness between two rings

The invention concerns seals particularly for rotating shafts. This seal, with a flexible membrane in the form of a cupola having an aperture for the shaft to pass therethrough, is characterized by the fact that said cupola has a thickness decreasing from its base to the contact ridge with the shaft, the elasticity necessary for maintaining the contact being obtained from the inherent rigidity of the membrane.

Seals particularly for rotating shafts

A lip sealing ring has a lip engaging a shaft, the lip being at one end of a flexible sleeve which surrounds the shaft and is supported by its other end in a housing. The sealing lip is supported by a pair of stiffening rings, one on the inside and one on the outside of the sleeve, to ensure adequate sealing while allowing the sleeve to be sufficiently flexible to accommodate displacements of the shaft.
