A flange is provided for connection to a complementary flange, and wherein the flange includes an annular connection face to lie against a complementary annular connection face of the complementary flange; a first body section with a primary bolt circle including an annular arrangement of inclined openings to receive a set of fasteners for connecting the flange to the complementary flange and a second body section with a secondary bolt circle including an annular arrangement of openings to receive a set of fasteners for connecting the flange to an interim structure. Also provided is a method of handling a cylindrical tower section equipped with such a flange.

Flange

A leak containment arrangement for a fluid damper in a wind turbine tower includes a receptacle arranged below the fluid damper; a fluid guide arranged between the fluid damper and the receptacle, which fluid guide is arranged to receive fluid from a leak in the damper and to guide the leaked fluid into the receptacle; and a sensing means arranged to detect fluid in the receptacle. Further provided is a method of providing leak containment for a fluid damper in a wind turbine tower.

Leak containment arrangement

A liquid damper for a wind turbine tower includes a damper housing formed from a horizontal lower annulus, a horizontal upper annulus, an essentially cylindrical outer vertical wall and an essentially cylindrical inner vertical wall, wherein the outer diameter of the damper corresponds to the interior diameter of the tower; an operational volume of liquid contained in the damper; and an arrangement of vertical ribs mounted to a vertical wall of the damper. Further provided is a method of assembling a wind turbine.

Liquid damper

Provided is a coupling assembly for connecting a tower or a transition piece of a wind turbine to a monopile including a first coupling part configured to be connected to the monopile and a second coupling part configured to be connected to the first coupling part. Further provided is a tower end of a tower of a wind turbine connected to a second coupling part of the coupling assembly. Finally, a method of driving a monopile of a wind turbine into the ground, a top end of the monopile being connected to a first coupling part of the coupling assembly is also provided.

Provided is a coupling assembly of a wind turbine including a first coupling part and a second coupling part, the first coupling part and the second coupling part being configured to be coupled with each other, the first coupling part including a first surface with a first insertion hole being configured to be inserted by a fastener, the second coupling part including a second surface with a second insertion hole being configured to be inserted by the fastener, the first surface being configured to abut the second surface.

Coupling assembly

A tower for wind turbine is provided, including an outer wall encompassing an inner space and including a through-hole having a central axis, and a light source configured to emit light through the through-hole into an environment surrounding the tower, wherein the light source lies on the central axis of the through-hole and is arranged inside the inner space of the outer wall. The serviceability and maintenance of the light source is improved since the light source can be easily accessed by maintenance personnel operating inside the tower.
