A handheld vacuum cleaner includes a housing, motor, filter access door, filter, and dirt cup movably coupled to the housing. The housing defines a top, bottom, motor chamber, dirty air inlet, handle, clean air outlet, and air flow path. The air flow path is routed from the dirty air inlet to the clean air outlet. The motor is disposed in the motor chamber and defines a motor axis. The filter access defines a filter chamber with the housing. The filter is disposed in the filter chamber and defines a filter axis. The dirt cup defines a dirt cup axis extending parallel to the motor axis and filter axis. The filter access door is located below the filter axis. When the filter axis door is removed, the filter is removable in a downward direction from the filter chamber.

Handheld vacuum cleaner

A vacuum cleaner assembly includes an upright vacuum cleaner, an adapter, and a handheld accessory. The upright vacuum cleaner includes an upright frame and a connection post. The connection post is coupled to the upright frame. The connection post includes a distal end. The adapter includes a recess and a projection. The distal end of the connection post is removably received in the recess. The projection is opposite the recess. The handheld accessory includes an elongate member. The elongate member includes a nozzle end. At least a portion of the projection is removably received in the nozzle end.

Adapter for vacuum cleaner assembly

Lift rod assemblies for waste receptacles having pedal-operated lids are provided. Such lift rod assemblies can include a first end configured to couple to the pedal and a distal second end configured to couple to the lid, and a spring configured to dampen a force in excess of a predetermined force threshold applied to the pedal by the user and transferred to the elongated lift rod assembly. Waste receptacles including such lift rod assemblies are also provided.

Waste receptacles and lift rod assemblies therefor

Waste receptacles and retractable casters for such waste receptacles are provided. The waste receptacle includes a housing that has an inner volume accessible by an opening. The housing also includes a base. The waste receptacle includes at least one foot attached to the base that is configured to support the waste receptacle in a standing position. On the housing is at least one retractable caster assembly with a caster moveable between a retracted position and an extended position in which the caster extends past the at least one foot to engage a surface on which the waste receptacle is placed. The waste receptacle is selectively disposed in either a standing position or a mobile position in which the receptacle is moveable along the surface by the retractable caster assembly.

Selectively mobile waste receptacles and methods

A personal, portable drinking container has a bottle with a side wall, a closed bottom, a neck, a reservoir, and a top opening in the neck providing access to the reservoir. A cap is removably fitted on the neck to close the top opening. The bottle can have an annular formation in the side wall below the neck to prevent the neck from deforming when the bottle is squeezed. The side wall can have a pair of squeezable sides and a pair of opposed stiff sides below the annular formation, whereby the stiff sides help the bottle to rebound quickly after each squeeze.

Drinking container and filter assembly

A personal, portable drinking container has a bottle with a side wall, a closed bottom, a neck, a reservoir, and a top opening in the neck providing access to the reservoir. A cap is removably fitted on the neck to close the top opening. A ledge can be on an interior surface of the bottle below the top edge. A filter assembly is supported in the bottle and can be suspended on the ledge. The bottle can have an annular formation in the side wall below the neck to prevent the neck from deforming when the bottle is squeezed. The side wall can have a pair of squeezable sides and a pair of opposed stiff sides below the annular formation, whereby the stiff sides help the bottle to rebound quickly after each squeeze.

A work station comprises a work platform that may be mounted on a movable carriage. The work platform may support a keyboard tray on a drawer where the drawer may be moved between a retracted position and an extended position. The tray is mounted for pivoting motion in a first direction and a second direction between a lowered position and a raised position. A gear is operatively connected to the tray such that rotation of the tray causes rotation of the gear. A pawl is biased into engagement with the gear to prevent movement of the tray in the second direction to lock the tray in an angular position when the tray is moved in the first direction. A latch disengages the pawl from the gear when the tray reaches the fully raised position to allow the tray to move in the second direction to the lowered position.

Keyboard tray tilt

A workstation comprises a support and a carriage mounted on the support and movable relative to the support. The carriage supports a work platform. A counter-balance supports the carriage and the work platform. A lock mechanism locks the carriage relative to the support in a desired position. The workstation may comprise a swing arm attached to the support at a vertical pivot such that the support may pivot relative to the swing arm. A method of operating the work station is also provided comprising moving an actuator to retract the pin from the rack. The weight of the support is supported by the counter-balance. The carriage is repositioned and the actuator is released to allow the pin to move to the extended position where it engages the rack.

Work station with height adjustment lock

A drinking container has a bottle with an open top, a cap assembly attachable to the bottle to cover the open top, and a drinking spout with a top opening on the cap assembly. A spout cover is removably fitted on the top opening of the drinking spout. A flexible tether is connected to the spout cover and to the cap assembly or the bottle. The tether is looped unto itself permitting the spout cover and a portion of the tether to be extended to reach the top opening and to be retracted withdrawing the spout cover to a position remote from the drinking spout.

The drawer assembly comprises a cabinet defining an internal space. A shelf is supported in the cabinet. The shelf supports a latch that is movable between a first position and a second position. A drawer is supported on the shelf where the drawer has a latch receiving structure formed thereon. The latch receiving structure includes a first surface engageable with the latch when the latch is in the first position and a second surface also engageable with the latch when the latch is in the first position such that the drawer can be locked relative to the cabinet in one of two positions. In one embodiment the drawer is supported on a mobile medical cart. The cart may also include a computer such as a PC, wireless communications systems to communicate with a wider network system, a system controller and/or other systems.

Medical cart and drawer assembly and lock

A medical cart comprising a base is supported on wheels. A first arm is supported on a track for linear movement in a first direction that supports a first platform. The arm also supports a second platform that is mounted for linear movement in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The first platform is mounted on a tilt assembly such that the angle of the first platform relative to the second platform can be adjusted.

Medical cart and keyboard tray

An ice transport system includes a cart and a plurality of ice totes. The cart includes a bed and a plurality of retention structures mounted on the bed. The plurality of ice totes are arranged on a platform of the bed and contained on the platform by the plurality of retention structures. The plurality of retention structures are configured and positioned relative to the platform to contain the plurality of ice totes on the platform while leaving an access side of a plurality of sides of the platform open for loading and unloading the plurality of ice totes. In some cases, each ice tote may include a hang hook removably disposed within a recess in the exterior surface of the tote and configured to extend outward from the exterior surface.
