The lighting system has a housing and a lens coupled to the housing. The lens has a focal point. The system also has a plurality of light sources generating light and an actuator coupled to the lens. A controller selectively controls the actuator to move the lens relative to the light sources to change the focal point based on the vehicle speed signal.

A lighting system and method of operating the same for a vehicle having a vehicle structure includes a plurality of primary low beam elements and a plurality of secondary low beam elements. The system further includes a primary high beam element and a secondary high beam element. A lean angle sensor is coupled to the vehicle structure. A controller is coupled to the lean angle sensor controlling the primary low beam elements, the secondary low beam element and the secondary high beam element in response to the lean angle.
