A method of deploying cabling in a tray using an automated cable runner (ACR). The ACR includes a pathway, a carriage operable to travel along the pathway, a plurality of supports connectable to the pathway and connectable to the tray and configured to support the pathway over the tray, and a cabling holder attached to the carriage. The carriage includes a drive wheel structured and arranged to contact the pathway, a motor operable to rotate the drive wheel, and a power source connected to motor. The method includes attaching the carriage to the pathway, connecting an end of a cabling to the cabling holder, and powering the motor to rotate the drive wheel to drive the carriage to travel along the pathway from a desired start point to a desired end point to deploy cabling into the tray from the start point to the end point.

An electronic device for automated image-based auditing of equipment cabinets may include a memory storing an imaging computer program; and a computer processor. The imaging computer program, when executed by the computer processor, may cause the computer processor to perform the following: receive a plurality images from an image capture device on a carriage, wherein the image capture device is configured to traverse an equipment cabinet and capture the plurality of images of equipment in the equipment cabinet; generate a single image by stitching the plurality of images together; receive data from a sensor on the carriage, wherein the sensor is configured to capture data from the equipment in the equipment cabinet; associate the data with a location in the equipment cabinet; compare the single image and the data to an expected image and expected data; and output a result of the comparison.

Systems and methods for automated image-based auditing of equipment cabinets

An automated cable runner (ACR) for a cabling tray. The ACR includes a pathway, a carriage operable to travel along the pathway, a plurality of supports connectable to the pathway and connectable to the tray and configured to support the pathway over the tray, and a cable holder attached to the carriage. The carriage is operable to autonomously travel along the pathway from a desired start point to a desired end point to deploy cabling into the tray from the start point to the end point.

A system for automated equipment cabinet leveling may include a foot leveling device for each foot of an equipment cabinet, each foot leveling device comprising a drive gear and a worm gear; a motor for each foot leveling device, each motor driving the worm gear of one of the foot leveling devices; a controller controlling the operation of each motor; and a sensor positioned on a portion of the equipment cabinet to be leveled that detects an orientation of the equipment cabinet and provides orientation data to the controller. The foot leveling device may interface with a foot shaft of the cabinet foot by a drive shaft driven by the drive gear, and the controller may drive at least one of motors to level the surface of the equipment cabinet based on the orientation data by extending or retracting at least one of the cabinet feet.

Systems and methods for automated equipment cabinet leveling

Systems and methods for modular cabinet cable pass through are disclosed. A system may include a first lead modular plate having a U-shape and a first and a second follower modular plate, each of the first and the second follower modular plates having a U-shape and having a first follower modular plate leg and a second follower modular plate leg and a second plate portion therebetween, the second follower modular plate leg being longer than the first follower modular plates leg, and a bottom plate that receives at least a portion of the first lead modular plate, and the second follower modular plate legs of the first and the second follower modular plates. At least one cable may pass between an opening defined by the bottom plate and one of the first follower plate and the second follower plate.
