A system and computer-implemented method for approving a dynamic mortgage application. In one aspect, the method may include determining a customer is approved for a mortgage and determining a real estate property is mortgage ready, including calculating an appraisal value for the real estate property based upon the information about the real property retrieved from a computer file or memory location/address (such as by using a machine learning or artificial intelligence algorithm). The method may still further include comparing the calculated amount the customer is approved for a mortgage loan with the calculated appraisal value of the real estate property; and approving the mortgage application of the customer for the real estate property when the calculated amount the customer is approved for the mortgage loan meets, or exceeds, the calculated appraisal value of the real estate property.

Approving and updating dynamic mortgage applications

A shared ledger operated by a group of network participants according to a set of consensus rules manages and resolves subrogation claims between a clamant and a defendant with arbitration. Evidence regarding the value of the subrogation claim is sent to the shared ledger by the parties to the subrogation claim such as sending data to a smart contract deployed on the shared ledger. The parties to the subrogation claim or entities that are not parties to the subrogation claim may broadcast data relating to fault to the blockchain. The data relating to fault may be evaluated by the parties or entities acting on the parties' behalf to determine fault. Once the claim is resolved, arbitrator may release funds on the chain to the prevailing party or may accept confirmation that any payments have been made between the parties off-chain.

A system and computer-implemented method of continuously updating information about one or more of a customer approved for a mortgage and a real estate property identified as mortgage ready. The method includes monitoring information accessed from a memory storage location corresponding to a customer identification number, the information used to determine the customer is approved for a mortgage, and receiving new information about the customer, the new information used to determine the customer is approved for a mortgage. The method also includes updating, at a memory coupled to the one or more processors, the memory storage location to include the new information. Example methods may include implementing one or more servers, each of the one or more servers maintaining a copy of a distributed ledger; detecting a change in a policy or claim status for a user; responding to the detection of the change, including: (i) generating, via a server of the one or more servers, a transaction record for the distributed ledger including data corresponding to the change; (ii) generating a hash value representative of at least the transaction record using at least a generated nonce value; and (iii) storing the transaction record and the hash value to each copy of the distributed ledger at the one or more servers; and performing a function based upon the transaction record stored to the distributed ledger.

Various aspects include detecting, via one or more processors associated with a first vehicle, that an abnormal traffic condition exists in an operating environment of the first vehicle. An electronic message is generated and transmitted wirelessly, via a vehicle-mounted transceiver associated with the first vehicle, to alert a nearby vehicle of the abnormal traffic condition and to allow the nearby vehicle to avoid the abnormal traffic condition. The first vehicle receives telematics data regarding operation of the nearby vehicle after the nearby vehicle received the electronic message, and transmits the telematics data to a remote server for updating a vehicle-usage profile associated with the nearby vehicle.

A system for providing dynamic roadside assistance coordination may include a customer mobile device or vehicle in direct, or indirect, wireless communication with an insurance provider and/or service provider remote server. The customer's device may transmit a request for roadside assistance (e.g., towing services), and a current GPS location. In response, a closest, trusted service provider vehicle may be determined, and then directed to the customer's location. For instance, a software application may receive the customer location and compare it with availability information to match the customer with a close and trusted service provider. The customer's device may receive an acknowledgement that help is on the way, and be able to track the current location of the service provider vehicle while en route. Payment for the roadside assistance may be automatically and electronically paid by the insurance provider. As a result, prompt and safe roadside assistance may be provided.

The present methods and systems relate to using and accessing data stored in a blockchain, and in particular, interacting with the blockchain and users to provide bank card activation services using smart contracts.
