The arrangements disclosed herein relate to a lighting device assembly includes an optic assembly including a light source, a housing including a front side, a back side, and an opening in the front side, the front side, the back side, and the opening defining a cavity in which the at least a portion of the optic assembly is received, and the housing is configured to secure the lighting device assembly to a wall, a ceiling, or a surface, and a rail mount system coupled to the back side of the housing. The rail mount system includes a rail coupled to the back side of the housing, wherein the rail includes a lead-in portion, a middle portion, and an end portion, wherein the lead-in portion is recessed from the middle portion, the end portion includes a first secure member, and a plate configured to support a driver configured to drive the light source, the plate includes a side flange. The middle portion of the rail forms a channel with the back side of the housing. The side flange is configured to be received in and slidably coupled to the channel, wherein the side flange includes a second secure member at an end of the side flange. The first secure member and the second secure member are configured to engage one another to position the plate at a predetermined position on the back side of the housing.

Lighting device assembly with driver rail mount system

Lighting system including visible-light source with semiconductor light-emitting device, which may further include: pan assembly having pan ring, pinion gear, and central fixed gear; heat-sink, tilt assembly including tilt adjustment screw, leadscrew, and two spaced-apart panels defining tilt path for causing movement of heat-sink and visible-light source along tilt path; universal joint assembly including gimbal, swing bar with swing arms and being in threaded engagement with leadscrew, swing arms connected with visible-light source; support assembly configured for securing heat-sink and visible-light source together at plurality of selectable distances away from light emission aperture; heat-sink and visible-light source each having thermally-conductive surface, one surface having Dzus-type fastener button and another surface having Dzus-type cavity containing spring wire, for reversible attachment of heat-sink and visible-light source together; or power supply assembly, and receptacle for self-aligning reversible installation of power supply assembly, receptacle having guide walls with lead-ins.

Boundary-mountable lighting systems

A lighting device system includes a lighting device module having a module housing configured to be selectively inserted through an opening in a panel or a base. Driver electronics are configured to be electrically coupled to the lighting device module. A heat sink member is located adjacent the opening in the panel or the base. A movable biasing device has a first position to apply a bias force on the module housing, pressing the module housing toward the heat sink member to increase thermal transfer. The moveable biasing device has a second position to provide improved access to the driver electronics through the opening in the panel or base relative to the first position. The movable biasing device is selectively moveable from the first position to the second position, or from the second position to the first position.

Lighting device system with biasing device and driver electronics bracket

A lighting device assembly includes an outer housing having an inner volume and an inner surface at least partially surrounding the inner volume, a first open end and a second open end. At least one rail is provided on the inner surface of the outer housing. A first heat sink member is received within the first open end of the outer housing and secured to the at least one rail. A light source is attached to the first heat sink member. A cap attaches to the outer housing to cover the second open end. A second heat sink member holding one or more driver electronics modules connects to the light source. The second heat sink member is secured to the cap and is received within the second open end of the outer housing when the cap attaches to the outer housing.

Modularized component lighting device

A moveable mount supports a lighting device assembly and driver electronics. The moveable mount includes a base having a light opening, and a light engine support bracket assembly movably secured to the base. The light engine support bracket is configured to support the lighting device assembly and the driver electronics, for movement relative to the base between a first position in which an optic or a light source of the light engine assembly is aligned with the light opening of the base to direct light through the light opening, and a second position in which the driver electronics is aligned with the light opening of the base.

Lighting device system and movable mount for same

A lighting device assembly includes a light engine assembly and a mounting housing. A rotatable support structure supports the light engine assembly on the mounting housing for rotation relative to the mounting housing about a first axis. A releasable connection mechanism locks the light engine assembly to the rotatable support structure and is selectively releasable to release the light engine assembly from the rotary support structure.

Adjustable lighting device with twist and lock

A lighting device assembly includes a light source attached to a heat sink member to emit light in a first direction. A support structure supports the heat sink member in a pivotally adjustable orientation about an adjustment axis, to allow adjustment of the first direction. A drive mechanism selectively drives the heat sink member to pivotally adjust the orientation of the heat sink member about the adjustment axis to change the first direction. The drive mechanism includes a drive screw having, a collar threaded to the drive screw to move linearly along the drive screw axis as the drive screw is rotated, and at least one strut to transfer linear movement of the collar to pivotal movement of the heat sink member.

Adjustable lighting device

A driver housing for holding driver electronics of a lighting device system includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The first housing portion is configured to hold and retain the driver electronics. The second housing portion is configured to contain or hold one or more electrical connectors for connecting the first one or more electrical conductors to the one or more power source conductors. A pivotal joint connects the first housing portion and the second housing portion together, for pivotal movement relative to each other. The pivotal joint improves the ease and ability of installation of the driver housing in small or narrow spaces.

Hinged driver housing for lighting system and lighting system including same

A lighting device assembly includes a light source and an optic attached to a first heat sink member, a second heat sink member connected in thermal communication with the first heat sink member, and an aperture member connected to the second heat sink member. The aperture member has an inner surface having steps surrounding a light exit opening to reduce a thickness dimension. The edge of the light exit opening is angled radially outward toward its light exit side. A third heat sink member is connected in thermal communication with the second heat sink member, and has a plurality of openings to receive one or more plaster materials. The third heat sink member has a first region and a second region at least partially surrounding the first region, the second region has a reduced heat conduction capability relative to the first region, to inhibit a transfer of heat to the outer perimeter of the body of the further heat sink member.

Small aperture lighting device

A lighting device assembly includes a heat sink, a light source attached to one end of the heat sink, an optic assembly to pivot an optic about the light source, and a housing member having a cavity in which at least a portion of the optic assembly is received and pivotally adjustable. An elastic member imparts a bias force on the optic assembly, to force an outer surface of the optic assembly against an inner surface of the housing member. The elastic member is held in a partially compressed state, to constantly impart the bias force on the optic assembly.

The invention includes a payload stage with tilt head, a monitor mount and a payload plate clamping mechanism, individually, and incorporated into a camera stabilizer. The tilt head provides a curved and a straight slot each having a pivot pin disposed therein. The pivot pins are at a fixed distance from one another and thus the stage tilts as the pivot progresses with respect to the straight slot. The monitor mount provides inserts to accommodate central posts of different sizes, each designed to be axially registered to the posts and the monitor mount.
