An arrangement and a method of rotating a hub of a wind turbine are provided. A wind turbine includes a hub mounted to a nacelle, whereby the hub is rotatable around an axis of rotation in respect to the nacelle. A rotor blade is arranged at the hub that leads to a torque around the axis of rotation of the hub. A counter weight is attached to the hub, whereby the counter weight has a mass that leads to a counter-torque around the axis of rotation. The counter-torque interacts with the torque during the installation of a second rotor blade to the hub. The counter weight is mounted to the hub by a mechanical arrangement that is rotatable in respect to the hub around the axis of rotation of the hub. The mechanical arrangement and the counter weight are rotatable in respect to the hub into a certain predetermined position.

Arrangement and method to rotate the hub of a wind turbine

A sealing arrangement includes an interface seal part arranged between a stationary element of a wind turbine and a rotary element of the wind turbine. The interface seal part is arranged to establish a seal between an interior of the stationary element and an exterior environment. Also a brake disc is realized to accommodate at least a portion of an interface seal part of such a sealing arrangement. Also described is a wind turbine which includes the sealing arrangement and the brake disc.

Sealing arrangement for a wind turbine

An improved transformer arrangement of a wind turbine is provided. A wind turbine transformer arrangement comprises a transformer that is arranged in the wind turbine. The transformer comprises a housing. The transformer housing is filled with an oil. The transformer arrangement comprises at least one decompression chamber and the interior of the transformer housing is connected to the interior of the decompression chamber by a pressure release tube in a way that an increase in the pressure in the transformer housing due to a malfunction of the transformer is transferred through the pressure release tube into the decompression chamber.

A transformer chamber for a wind turbine is described. The transformer chamber includes a liquid-tight tank for receiving a liquid-filled, in particular oil-filled, transformer, a wind turbine structure component includes a component bedframe adapted for receiving such a transformer chamber and a wind turbine includes such a transformer chamber and such a wind turbine structure component. Furthermore, a method for assembling a wind turbine is described.

A generator, particularly for a wind turbine, having a rotor and a stator is provided. The rotor includes at least one disc-like shaped rotor end plate supporting the rotor and the stator includes at least one disc-like shaped stator end plate supporting the stator, wherein the at least one rotor end plate and/or the at least one stator end plate at least partially extends tilted relative to the center axis of the generator.

A cooling arrangement is provided for a wind turbine. The wind turbine has a nacelle. The cooling arrangement includes a cooling device and a platform. The cooling device is arranged on top of the nacelle and which is configured to remove heat of the wind turbine to the ambient air. The platform is located on top of the nacelle and which is configured to be approached by a helicopter. The platform includes a barrier, which surrounds at least a part of the platform. The barrier includes at least a part of the cooling device.

Cooling arrangement of a wind turbine

A direct driven wind turbine includes an electrical generator with a rotor and a stator, a hub constructed to receive a rotor blade, and an actuator device. The hub is connected to the rotor of the electrical generator. The hub and the rotor of the electrical generator are rotatable mounted in respect to the stator of the generator. The actuator device is constructed and arranged to rotate the rotor of the electrical generator and the hub of the wind turbine in respect to the stator of the electrical generator, wherein the actuator device is at least one motor.

Method to rotate the rotor of a wind turbine and means to use in this method

A wind turbine with a generator includes a rotor with permanent magnets and a stator with stator coils mounted on a stator support structure. The stator support structure includes a base structure on which circular connection structures are mounted with their inner perimeter, whereby a stator base structure is connected to the outer perimeter of the circular connection structures.

In one aspect, an arrangement for cooling of an electrical machine is provided. The arrangement includes a rotor and a stator of the electrical machine, while an air-gap is between the rotor and the stator. The electrical machine includes an air-cooling-arrangement, which circulates air inside the electrical machine. The electrical machine includes a liquid-cooling-arrangement, which circulates cooling-liquid inside the electrical machine. The air-cooling arrangement and the liquid-cooling-arrangement are connected by an air-to-liquid heat-exchanger, which is applied to transport heat out from the electrical machine by the cooling-liquid.

Arrangement for cooling of an electrical machine

An air-gap is between a rotor and a stator. The stator comprises a number of stacked laminate-plates. The laminate-plates are positioned and fixed by a structural support and by end-plates in relation to a central-part of the stator to achieve the air-gap. A cavity is formed by the end-plates, the central-part of the stator, the air-gap and an internal surface of the rotor. An air-cooling arrangement is arranged and used to circulate a gaseous medium for cooling purposes inside the cavity.
