A communication system facilitating the establishment of a channel of communication for multiple electronic communication devices includes a registration server. The system also includes a plurality of enabled electronic communication devices in communication with the registration server. Each of the plurality of enabled electronic communication devices including an application programming interface enabling communication with the registration server. The communication server further includes a local communication network and a global communication network. If the plurality of enabled electronic communication devices are in the local communication network, communication amongst the plurality of enabled electronic communication device is established using the local communication network and if the plurality of electronic communication devices are not in the local communication network, communication amongst the plurality of enabled electronic communication device is established using the global communication network.

System facilitating user access to content stored or exposed on connected electronic communication devices

A method and system for incorporating a watermark into an original digital picture utilizes an image file, such as a JPEG file to store a watermark or otherwise altered rendition of an original digital picture. The marker section of the JPEG file would include the original digital picture as well as meta data relating to the watermark as well as a copyright notice. Additionally, a password is encrypted and embedded into the header section of the JPEG file. Therefore, an end user could only download and print the original digital picture by the proper entering of a password supplied by originator of the JPEG file.

Method and apparatus for creating a digital picture with a watermark as well as removing the watermark from the digital picture

A method and system for incorporating textual and audio material into a JPEG file in a manner allowing both a photograph and the textual material to be stored as one unit and transferred as one unit. The textual materials stored in various photograph tag markers which become part of the JPEG file. The JPEG file including the textual material can be transferred to an authorized user who could edit the file based upon password security. The textual materials can appear around any of the borders of the photographs or can be directly embedded into the photograph.
