A sill arrangement for a fenestration frame includes a sill with a first chamber, a second chamber, a third chamber, and a fourth chamber. The sill includes a first internal wall that separates the first chamber from the second chamber. The sill arrangement also includes a corner key with a first port defining a first passage between the first and second chambers and a second passage between the second and third chambers of the sill. Moreover, a second port is included on the sill-facing surface that defines a third passage between the third and fourth chambers for allowing fluid to flow from the third chamber to the fourth chamber. The corner key further includes a drain in communication with the fourth chamber.

Fenestration unit with sill arrangement fluid management system

A fenestration unit with a first panel and a second panel, one panel being supported for sliding relative to the other. The fenestration unit includes an interpanel coupling system with a first coupling member and a second coupling member. The first coupling member includes a first facing member and a first projection that projects from the first facing member into an interpanel gap. The second coupling member includes a second facing member and a second projection that projects from the second facing member into the interpanel gap. The coupling system including a seal member that is attached to the first projection or the second projection. The seal member is configured to engage and resiliently deflect against the other of the first projection and the second projection when the second panel is in the closed position.

A breakaway sash lug assembly for a hung window includes a sash mount seat attachable to a window sash and a lug body rigidly attached to the sash mount seat via a releasable coupling that is configured to release at least one side of the lug body from the sash mount seat upon application a relatively small external force on the lug body. The releasable coupling may inhibit damage from inadvertent contact between the lug body and other portions of the hung window, for example during tilting of the sash for cleaning. The releasable coupling may include a hinge and a latch and/or a snap attachment.

Breakaway sash lug for hung windows

An assembly for a door or window frame including an elongated sill and a corner key attached to each end of the sill. The corner key includes a water chamber for collecting water therein and a plurality of ports for diverting water from the water chamber outwardly through a drain port. The water chamber and plurality of ports are designed to temper a high-pressure gradient in the sill and effectively promote water egress away from the sill.
