A device for rapid removal/reinstallation of a back of a seat of a vehicle, the back being attached, by at least one first strap, to a ceiling. The device includes a hanging intermediary structure and a fixed structure integral with the ceiling and retaining the structure in the use position of the seat, in which it has been brought with an upward movement, and locking the structure in the use position or unlocking it such that it is moved away from the ceiling to release the tension exerted by the first strap and allow the structure to be disengaged from the retaining unit. The back can thus be removed or reinstalled without any action on the tension setting of the strap.

A body shell of an armored vehicle includes a front face carrying a bulletproof windscreen projecting towards an outside of the body shell, at least one side wall including an opening, the side wall being integral with the front face at a strut that is defined by a part of the side wall included between an edge of the opening and a rim of the side wall situated furthest outwards at the front of the vehicle. In the armored vehicle body shell, the strut extends beyond the front face towards the outside of the body shell, and the edge of the opening is situated near the front face so that a junction between the strut and the front face of the body shell is at the vicinity of the edge of the opening which forms a rear edge of the strut.

A protection device for a vehicle cab having a floor and two vertical side walls, the device including an armor plate below and substantially parallel to the floor of the cab, and deformable compartmented caissons connected between the floor and the armor plate and under the side walls of the cab, each compartmented caisson having buckleable walls dimensioned to buckle upon shock impact to the exterior of the armor plate.

The invention relates to an armored door () for the crew compartment of a vehicle or fixed shelter, such door intended to block an opening () into the compartment and incorporating a structure () to the exterior of which at least one armor plate () is fastened. The armor plate () is fixed at a distance from the structure () and is separate from said structure by first deformable intermediate means () able to absorb part of the energy of a shock, the armor plate () having, furthermore, dimensions that are greater than those of the structure (), and second deformable intermediate means () positioned between the rim (R) of the armor plate () and a wall () of the compartment surrounding the opening ().

A device to reduce the visible and infrared signature of a military combat vehicle by diluting the engine's exhaust and cooling gases. The device includes a caisson receiving both sources of heat flow to ensure a single outlet for both the exhaust gases and the cooling air. The caisson is constituted by an enclosure and a shutter. The enclosure ensures a homogeneous mixture of the two fluids and the shuttering provides a way by which the mixture is evacuated. The air outlet of the dilution device may be positioned between the axles of a wheeled-type vehicle.

Device to reduce the visible and infrared signature of a military vehicle

A motorized breakdown vehicle, in particular for a tank, which vehicle includes a chassis and a removable platform mounted directly on the chassis. The platform can be organized so as to support equipment required for maintenance and/or repair operations, such equipment including, in particular, stowage lockers. In a preferred embodiment, the chassis is a tank chassis, and the platform is mounted on the rear portion of the chassis.
