An interaction system may receive trigger information associated with a facilitator device of a facilitator at a venue. The trigger information may be transmitted based on the facilitator operating the facilitator device during an interaction between the facilitator and one or more participants. The interaction system may determine, based on receiving the trigger information, that interaction information has been provided to the one or more participants. The interaction system may determine, in response to the trigger information, that the facilitator was located at a particular sensing location. The interaction system may obtain, using sensing location information identifying the particular sensing location, participant device information regarding a participant device located at the particular sensing location during the interaction. The interaction system may modify a record associated with the participant device to reflect that the interaction information was provided to a participant associated with the participant device during the interaction.

Providing content based on a trigger from a user device

Techniques are disclosed for generating 2D images of a 3D avatar in a virtual world. In one embodiment, a request is received specifying customizations to the 3D avatar. The 2D images are generated based on the request, each 2D image representing the 3D avatar from a different viewing angle in the virtual world. Advantageously, the 2D images may be sent to a client for display, without requiring the client to render the 3D avatar.

A method is provided for a unified game scripting language with a multi-platform interpreter. By providing a script editor that creates a unified game logic script, and by processing the unified game logic script through platform conversion modules, game designers can easily specify game logic without coding for a specific platform or making a distinction between server and client. As only a single unified game logic script needs to be maintained, consistency errors from manually maintaining parallel and mirrored code bases is completely eliminated. Moreover, game designers are freed from having to manually weigh the considerations of client side versus server side, low end hardware versus high end hardware, bandwidth limited networks versus bandwidth unlimited networks, specific hardware architectures, specific programming languages, and other technical details. Since platforms are defined by sets of rules, support for additional platforms is readily implemented by creating an associated platform conversion module.

Unified game scripting language with multi-platform interpreter

A single client session may be managed such that two or more virtual instances are presented without regard to technologies of the different virtual instances. Individual ones of the two or more virtual instances may be of a virtual environment or a virtual space. A first virtual instance may be loaded into the client session responsive to a user being authenticated for the first virtual instance based on received authentication information. A second virtual instance may then be loaded into the client session responsive to the user being authenticated for the second virtual instance based on the same received authentication information. Information associated with the user, information associated with a user character controlled by the user, and/or other instance services may be provided to the first virtual instance and/or the second virtual instance. Individual ones of the virtual instances may be monitored for a runtime error and/or memory abuse.

Authenticated session controller

There are provided systems and methods for tinting an image by monochromatic tinting using saturation maps for use by an application providing a user interface supporting customizable tinted images. By using saturation map and a monochromatic value map derived from the image and configuring the saturation map to specify areas for tinting, a tint color can be applied to the image by a series of quickly processed arithmetic calculations. This provides a lightweight and high quality method for tinting images within an application without wasting unnecessary network bandwidth or processor resources. Furthermore, the method can be adapted to apply multiple tint colors for multiple tints or use an alpha channel to restore color information lost due to the monochromatic value map. The resulting tinted image can also be used as a texture for a three-dimensional rendering engine.

System and method for monochromatic tinting using saturation maps

Embodiments of the invention broadly provide a system configured to receive, process and broadcast generalized event notifications from components and provide these generalized event notifications (messages) to a predetermined set of subscriber components. Accordingly, embodiments of the invention broadly contemplate a messaging system providing increased system flexibility for implementing and managing changes in complex computing systems having one or more related system components.
