A process for producing a galvanized perforated steel sheet material is described. A fully processed, unfinished sheet steel material is perforated to provide an area or areas of holes therein. The sheet material is then temper rolled to force any burrs formed during the perforation process back into the web of the material. The perforated sheet material is then galvanized. The galvanized perforated sheet material may then be roll painted without damage to the painting rolls.

Method for galvanizing perforated steel sheet

A metal fence (20) is constructed by a fence system with components including clips (26), fence posts (22) allowing rails (24) to engage with the posts and caps (21) to cover the seam between the rails. A solid wall fence (50) can be constructed using fasteners (228, 62), posts (58) and rails (32, 52, 54, 56, 60). Rails (32, 52, 54, 56, 60) slide along a channel (36) to form an interlocking seam (34).

Fence system and components

A noise barrier system having support members and noise absorbing panels is disclosed. The noise absorbing panels include a front corrugated perforated sheet and a rear corrugated solid sheet which define a chamber. A central sinusoidally corrugated perforated sheet is provided within the chamber. A first blanket of low frequency noise absorbing material is disposed adjacent the front face of the central member and is configured so that a resonance zone is provided between the first blanket and the rear surface of the front sheet. A second blanket of higher frequency sound absorbing material is provided between the rear surface of the central member and the front surface of the rear sheet.
