A sampler for delivery of microencapsulated liquid fragrance material is provided that comprises at least one treated paper sheet defining an enclosed cavity. The paper sheet is at least partially treated with a volatile containment treatment, wherein the volatile liquid containment treatment is water-stable and organic liquid capsule fill-stable. The enclosed cavity is substantially completely defined by treated portion(s) of the sheet. Microcapsules comprising microencapsulated organic liquid capsule fill are disposed within the cavity.

Reduced odor fragrance sampler

A fragrance-delivery composition is provided having cake-forming components and microcapsules containing fragrance oil. The composition is a coherent cake, and has a VOC content less than 250 grams of per liter less water, fragrance oil and exempt solvents.

Fragrance delivery compositions having low amounts of volatile organic

A sampler for delivery of microencapsulated liquid material has a protective treatment disposed on the substrate sheet overlying ink on the sheet, with microcapsules comprising microencapsulated organic liquid capsule fill disposed on at least a portion of the protective treatment and overlying at least a portion of the ink. The protective treatment is water-stable and organic liquid capsule fill-stable, and is a polymeric solution or emulsion that may be coated on the substrate sheet in a standard coating process in line with the printing of ink on the substrate sheet, and will cure in line to provide the desired protective properties.

Fragrance releasing pull-apart sheets can provide immediate fragrance release and transferable fragrance microcapsules by placing microcapsules between the two surfaces with a discontinuous binder, and adhering the surfaces together with the binder with the capsules in some areas and with only microcapsules present in other areas.

Fragrance releasing pull-apart sheets may be more consistently and easily manufactured by coating opposed surfaces with a binder, placing microcapsules between the two surfaces with binder, and adhering the surfaces together with the binder and/or additional binder applied with the capsules.

Encapsulated liquids may be provided as samples by binding a removable strip between two cover sheets. The strip is adhesively secured on at least one face to the inside of the cover sheets by an adhesive bearing the microencapsulated liquid.

Microcapsules containing material therein can be burst to release the encapsulated material when the capsules are contained in an adhesive securing two surfaces together and the surfaces are pulled apart.

Hot-melt imaging compositions useful for solventless coating on paper substrates. The imaging compositions comprise imaging microcapsules having melamine-urea-formaldehyde condensation polymer shells and an organic liquid dye precursor dispersed in a hot-melt binder. The compositions can be coated on paper substrates by conventional coating techniques to provide carbonless papers.
