A toy assembly that is configurable between a ball shape and a disc shape. When compressed into a disc shape, an air foil configuration is achieved that enables the toy assembly to achieve stable flight. A first plurality of body flaps radially extend from a first hub to create a first hemispherical subassembly. The opposing second hemispherical subassembly is created using a second hub and a second plurality of body flaps. A resilient ring is engaged by all of the body flaps. The resilient ring binds the two hemispherical subassemblies together. A temporary connector is coupled to the first hub and to the second hub. The temporary connector temporarily interconnects the first hub and the second hub for a period of time after the first hub and the second hub are pressed together.

Toy assembly that converts between a spherical shape and a flying disc shape

A flying disc assembly that contains an electronics module. The electronics module is protected from impact forces by the structure of the flying disc assembly. The flying disc assembly includes an annular disc body that defines a central opening. The electronics module extends through the central opening and is joined to the annular disc body by shock absorbing elements. The shock absorbing elements enable the electronics module to move relative the annular disc body when the flying disc assembly experiences a rapid change in velocity. The range of movement is limited to prevent permanent deformation of the shock absorbing elements. However, the range of movement that is permitted significantly reduces the forces that are experienced by the electronics module.

An amusement device that includes an elastic ball, a rigid, generally rectangular platform surrounding the ball so as to give the ball a figure eight appearance, an elongated elastic handle extending upwardly from the center of the ball, and a plurality of straps releasably securing the handle to the platform. The handle includes an upper section, a lower section, and a bar extending generally horizontally outwardly from the upper section of the handle. The bar may be grasped by a person while bouncing on the ball. The handle and the ball are made from an elastic material such as rubber.

A toy glider comprising a projectile and a pneumatic launcher configured essentially as a bracelet for wearing on the user's wrist. The pneumatic launcher comprises an essentially bracelet-shaped, flexible conduit and an open-ended launching tube having one of its ends in fluid communication with the flexible conduit. The flexible conduit has an integrally formed air bulb which is positionable for concealment in the palm of the user's hand when the flexible conduit is positioned around the user's wrist. The projectile comprises a wing fastened to a flight tube which is moveably positionable on the launching tube of the pneumatic launcher. The wing is fastened to the flight tube by a pair of integrally formed straps which encircle the flight tube and a plurality of integrally formed fingers which are folded into one end of the flight tube and restrained by an end plug.
