A ceiling assembly includes a first cross member, a second cross member spaced apart from and parallel to the first cross member and a plurality of light fixtures. Each light fixture includes an elongated tray comprising a base comprising a first side, a second side and a first opening therethrough. The elongated tray further includes a first longitudinally extending wall extending from the second side of the base and a second longitudinally extending wall extending from the second side of the base. The first longitudinally extending wall has a first coupler. The second longitudinally extending wall has a second coupler. The light fixture assembly has a light assembly and a coupling assembly coupling the light assembly to the tray. The coupling assembly is positioned around the opening and adjacent to the second side around the first opening. A baffle is coupled within the coupling assembly and comprises a lower edge.

Suspended ceiling system with a light fixture assembly

Some embodiments of the present light fixtures include a body, a waveguide, and one or more independently-controllable light sources. The waveguide is configured to be coupled to the body and may include a first end configured to receive light emitted from at least one of the light source(s) and to direct the received light to (and in some embodiments, emit the received light from) a second end of the waveguide. In some embodiments of the present fixtures, the waveguide defines an opening through which light emitted from at least one of the light source(s) can pass, the light source(s) being coupled to the body such that a first one of the light source(s) emits light into the first end of the waveguide and a second one of the light source emits light through the opening.

Light fixtures having waveguides and related methods

A light fixture assembly includes an elongated tray comprising a base comprising a first side, a second side and a first opening therethrough. The elongated tray further includes a first longitudinally extending wall extending from the second side of the base and a second longitudinally extending wall extending from the second side of the base. The first longitudinally extending wall has a first coupler. The second longitudinally extending wall has a second coupler. The light fixture assembly has a light assembly and a coupling assembly coupling the light assembly to the tray. The coupling assembly is positioned around the opening and adjacent to the second side around the first opening. A baffle is coupled within the coupling assembly.

Light assembly for a suspended ceiling system

A light fixture has an elongated track comprising an upper channel comprising a first wall having a first slot and a second wall having a second slot. The assembly has a support assembly comprising a base and a swivel arm rotatably attached to the base at a swivel. The base comprising a first flange received in the first slot and a second flange received in the second slot, said base extending across the upper channel. The swivel arm has a first end and a second end. The swivel is disposed at the first end and a cable connector is disposed at a second end of the swivel arm. The cable connector receives a cable therein.

An assembly for an opening through a member has a body and a first spring retention assembly coupled to the body. The first spring retention assembly has a first coil spring at least partially disposed within a first spring housing. The first coil spring has a first end extending through the first spring housing and is coupled to the body. The first coil spring is extendable from and retractable into the first spring housing.
