A golf flagpole and ferrule assembly for mounting in a golf cup hole is disclosed. The flagpole and ferrule both include cooperating coupling parts to form an attachment therebetween. A cap is applied over portions of the flagpole and the ferrule to couple to the retaining members and secure the flagpole to the ferrule.

A knock down flag pole assembly is provided including a base, a ferrule, and an elongate post. The base may include a coupling with a pocket having a coupling member or portion configured to removably couple to the ferrule. The coupling secures the ferrule to the base, but also permits the flag pole to be knocked out from the base.

Optionally, the elongate member may be unwound from a first reel to a second reel through the stream of fluid to provide the chemical to the fluid.

A mounting device for the end of a flag pole that provides an enhanced coupling of the pole within a golf cup is provided. The mounting device includes a securement rib that fastens to the pole without adhesive or secondary fasteners. The mounting device also includes features to minimize sticking to the golf cup and provides for a more upright presentation of the flag pole even in windy or breezing conditions.

A ferrule and coupling member assembly for mounting a flag pole is disclosed. The ferrule and coupling member are both formed from a non-metallic material, such as a ceramic composite material, which aids in wear-resistance and provides a low coefficient of friction between the surfaces. In addition, debris will be less likely to become lodged in a gap between the ferrule and coupling member and particulate matter on the golf course will not be able to gouge or scratch the ferrule or the coupling member.

Ferrule and sleeve assembly

A golf cup is provided that has a cylindrical wall defining an interior. The golf cup includes an insert formed from a non-metallic material positioned in the interior to form two chambers. The insert and chambers are arranged and configured to effect an audible indication upon an object, such as a golf ball, being dropped into the interior of the golf cup through the receiving opening. In one form, the audible indication is similar to that obtained from a golf ball being dropped into a metallic golf cup that is buried in the ground.

An electronic fuel injection system for maintaining absolute control over the air to fuel ratio flowing to the combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine. The system includes means for measuring the air flow rate to the engine. The flow rate measurement is converted into a proportional electrical signal which flows to a signal summing unit. The fuel flow rate from a fuel pump is controlled by a signal received from the signal summing unit, and provides a controlled fuel flow to the engine which is proportional to the air flow. Means associated with the fuel pump measures the exact flow rate therefrom and converts the measurement into another proportional electrical signal which is fed back to the summing unit to thereby form a closed loop circuit. The summing unit compares the first signal with the second signal and changes the fuel flow rate the required amount to maintain the ratio thereof at a predetermined value. There is optionally included within the system a warm-up enrichment, acceleration enrichment, and temperature and barometric pressure conversion means, all of which are connected back to the summing unit so as to provide extremely close control over all parameters affecting the air to fuel ratio.

Electronic carburetion system for low exhaust emissions of internal

An ultrasonic fuel atomizer which is inserted between a standard carburetor and intake manifold of an internal combustion engine to cause a more uniform mixture of fuel and air to be attained, thereby promoting fuel economy and increasing the efficiency of combustion. The apparatus driver a vibrating plate assembly which is excited by a driven such as a piezo electrical crystal. Within the housing of the apparatus there is formed a cavity through which fuel and air must travel along a prescribed path which causes large droplets of fuel to impinge upon the vibrating plate, thereby drastically reducing the droplet size of the fuel.
