A method of providing colored adjusted digital files which can be used to make prints by a printing system, including a computer and a local printer, controlled by enabling software stored on the removable storage medium, the original images being provided on colored film, including the steps of scanning the colored film to produce a plurality of digital files representing colored digital images; adjusting the digital files to produce color adjusted digital files, such adjustments including tone scale correction; providing enabling software including at least one software application program for operating the computer that enables the color adjusted digital files to be printed on the local printer, and transferring the color adjusted digital files and the enabling software to the removable storage medium.

Method for producing prints from digital image files scanned from film

A method of making digital colored prints by a particular printer operated by enabling software, the original images being provided on a colored film original includes scanning the colored film original to produce a digital image file of a digital image; adjusting the code values of the digital file to produce a color adjusted digital file, such adjustments including density and color balance correction adjustments; transferring both the color adjusted digital file and printing enabling software to a digital memory; and coupling the printer to the digital memory and causing the printer in response to the printing enabling software to operate on the color adjusted digital file to produce a transformed digital file and a print produced using such transformed digital file.

Digital colored corrected prints produced from colored film

An organic electroluminescent multicolor image display device is disclosed containing an image display array made up of a plurality of light emitting pixels arranged in intersecting files (rows and columns). Each pixel contains a light transmissive first electrode, an electroluminescent medium overlying the first electrode, and an overlying second electrode. The electrodes connect the pixels in an X-Y addressing pattern. The organic electroluminescent medium emits in the blue region of the spectrum. Each pixel is divided into at least two sub-pixels. The electrodes of one set of parallel files is divided into at least two laterally spaced elements each of which joins and forms a part of one sub-pixel of each pixel in the same file. A fluorescent medium capable of absorbing light emitted by the electroluminescent medium and emitting at a longer wavelength is positioned to receive emitted light from the first electrode means. The fluorescent medium is confined to only one of the sub-pixels of each pixel.

Organic electroluminescent multicolor image display device

A planar glass ion-selective electrode is described comprising an inherently conductive internal reference electrode, a cation-selective glass membrane and means for adhering the reference electrode to the glass membrane. The thickness of the glass membrane is uniform in regions intended for contact with a sample for analysis. The glass electrode is useful in assaying for the presence of sodium, hydrogen, potassium and other cations present in samples such as blood, urine, plasma, and serum.
