A fence construction assembly includes a slat engaging plate, preferably constructed from a single elongated board, for attachment to a fence support member, such as a fence post of a section of fence. The board is severed lengthwise to form first and second frame parts which when located adjacent to one another form the slat engaging plate. Each of the first and second frame parts has a substantially lengthwise extending slat-engaging edge formed by the severing of the single board. The lengthwise edges of the adjacently-located first and second frame parts face toward one another and respectively define a series of first steps in the first frame part and a series of second steps in the second frame part which are complementary to the series of first steps together with the series of first steps form a series of slots between the adjacently-located first and second frame parts having a staggered pattern extending from proximate one end to proximate the other end of the slat engaging plate so as to receive and capture ends of slats of the fence section extending transversely to the slat engaging plate and so as to arrange the slats of the fence section preferably, although not necessarily, in a louvered configuration.

Fence construction assembly and method of making the same

A carton blank from a one-piece blank includes a floor and sidewalls, with corner posts at the corners of the carton. The corner posts include end panels located beside adjacent sidewalls and a plurality of intermediate panels folded to form a Z-shape cross-section.

Automatic set-up carton with corner posts

A carton with triple-thickness sidewalls formed from a one-piece unitary blank includes sidewalls and endwalls extending from a floor. Lid members extending from the endwalls cover the carton interior and arrangements for locking the lids in a closed position are provided. The sidewalls and endwalls are interlocked with a locking post arrangement to prevent pull-out.

Container made from one-piece blank

A carton with triple-thickness sidewalls formed from a one-piece unitary blank includes sidewalls and endwalls extending from a floor. Lid members extending from the endwalls cover the carton interior and arrangements for locking the lids in a closed position is provided. The sidewalls and endwalls are interlocked with a locking post arrangement to prevent pull-out.

One piece carton blank

The corrugated container is provided with internal reinforcing panels to form corners of increased thickness, thereby augmenting the stacking strength of the container. Locking tabs are formed in either vertical endwalls or in horizontal lid panels of the container and are interlocked with the reinforcing panels being folded between overlapping reinforcing panels. Locking slots are provided in the carton sidewalls and locking flaps have ear portions engagable with edges of the locking slots, to hold the lid panels in a closed position.

Paperboard container having reinforced corners

A carton formed from a one-piece unitary blank includes sidewalls and endwalls extending from a floor. Lid members extending from the endwalls cover the carton interior and arrangements for locking the lids in a closed position is provided.

Carton apparatus includes lid members having locking tabs received in pockets formed in triple layer sidewalls. The intermediate layer of the sidewall defines a recess for receiving the locking tab, and forms a pocket when inner and outer sidewall layers are brought into contact with the intermediate sidewall layer. The intermediate sidewall layer includes locking edges which engage locking edges on the locking tabs. The tab-receiving pockets may be either open or closed.

Lidded cartons with improved locking

An integral carton blank from which a carton is formed having an end with three upstanding carton walls forming a pair of spaced-apart outside corners with reinforcing corners nested within each outside corner. The reinforcing corners are formed of reinforcing shoulders integrally joined to the end walls of the carton. Each reinforcing shoulder has three panel portions, two overlying a side wall and one overlying an end wall. Substantial portions of the panels of the reinforcing shoulder engage a floor of the carton to provide improved compressive strength.

Post construction

A one-piece corrugated fiberboard blank and the triple-end container assembled therefrom wherein the blank includes a rectangular bottom panel with a side panel hingedly attached to each of the two opposite sides thereof. Hingedly attached to the remaining two opposite sides of the bottom panel are first, exterior end panels, each having a hand-hold slot formed therein. Second, intermediate end panels sized in width to extend approximately half way across the first end panel in the assembled container are hingedly attached to the opposite ends of each side panel. Each intermediate end panel has a cutout complementary to the hand-hold slot in the first end panel and includes an extension hingedly attached thereto that folds back upon the intermediate end panel to form the third, innermost end panel. The extension includes a plurality of fold lines in its outer portion adjacent the common hinge between each second end panel and its respective extension, with none of the fold lines being collinear with the hinge. Accordingly, when the extension is folded back upon the second end panel, portions of extension defined by the fold lines bow-out to form an enclosure behind the hand-hold slot in the second end panel. Upon final assembly of the container, the second end panels and their extension are folded so that both enclosures at each end of the blank defined by the divergent fold lines register with the hand-hold slots of the first end panel to substantially seal the hand-holds. To ensure that the panels fold square along their fold lines, the fold lines have transverse relief cuts at the opposite ends thereof.
