A container is formed from a one-piece unitary blank of material in which the container comprises a bottom wall foldably joined to upstanding opposed parallel side walls, a back wall, and a front wall. A top wall is foldably joined to the back wall. The bottom wall comprises at least first and second slots each of which are formed on opposed lateral edges in proximity of the front wall. A first shoulder panel is foldably joined to a longitudinal edge of the front wall. The first shoulder panel includes respective first and second hammer-lock flaps each of which is foldably joined from opposed lateral edges. Each of the respective first and second hammer-lock flaps includes respective first and second locking tabs extending outwardly from respective free edges and is inserted into the corresponding first and second slots on the bottom wall.

The present invention is directed to an open-top container for shipping and displaying products which comprises a plurality of side walls. Bottom wall flaps are foldably joined to bottom edges of the side walls and are folded inwardly therefrom into overlapping relationship with one another to form a bottom wall closure. A respective plurality of triangularly-shaped beams foldably joined to upper edges of the respective plurality of side walls. Each of the plurality of the triangularly-shaped beams is defined by a shoulder panel and a flange panel foldably joined to one another. A bumper sticker panel is foldably joined to upper edge of one of the plurality of side walls forming a partial top closure when the open-top container is in the shipping position and partially prevents products from falling out when the open-top container is in the displaying position.

The embodiments of the present invention provide a blank foldable material that may be configured to form a container. When formed, the container is self-locking and includes a rollover panel assemblies formed by spaced apart fold lines that forms bearing surfaces for vertically stacked containers. The container includes a inside taper that functions to prevent telescoping of vertically stacked container, and to hold the various corner panels in their proper location. The blank is configured to form a container that includes corners having multiple thicknesses for strength and stability. The container is self locking, easy us manufacture yet high strength.

A container assembly is provided. The container has at least one bottom panel, and at least one side panel extending upwardly from the at least one bottom panel, to form an inner cavity. The bottom panel has at least one vent hole. A blank is provided having a substantially rectangular shape. The blank has flaps extending from corners of the blank. The flaps have tabs extending from an end. The flaps are folded substantially perpendicular to a plane defined by a body of the blank. At least one of the tabs are placed into at least one vent hole in the bottom panel.

Container having stackable shelf assembly

The present invention is directed to a container and container blank for shipping and displaying product that are generally flat and round. In accordance with the present invention, a single sheet of foldable material is cut and scored to define a container blank. The blank includes a variety of panels, flaps and tabs, that when erected, form a container that includes an interior volume having gussets in the corners. The gusseted corners provide a contact surface for product stability within the container. Likewise, the gussets provide overall stability and increased strength to the container. The container includes top panels that close the container.

The embodiments of the present invention provide a blank foldable material that may be configured to form a container. When formed, the container is self-locking and includes top panel assemblies that form additional bearing surfaces. The blank is configured to form a container that includes corners having multiple thicknesses. However, despite the multiple thickness of the corner assemblies, the panels are only adhered in one location per corner. The single adhesion/corner arrangement provides a multi-wall corner arrangement that is strong, yet has flexible applications. The single adhesive/corner adds vertical stacking strength and lateral stability between the panels. The unique approach of only adhering at one place per corner is a space and cost saving improvement that maintains a container integrity and usefulness.

The present invention includes a blank and container formed of cellulose-based materials configured to form a reusable and collapsible container. The container in the partially assembled, knock-down position lies substantially flat and is capable of being stacked and shipped. Arrival at a job site or at a time requiring the use of the container, the partially assembled knock-down container may be easily converted into a fully erect container ready for use as intended. Once loaded with product, the first and second top panels may be folded down to enclose the container. The container positions the relief scores primarily in the side panels with only a single relief score in the bottom panel. This configuration allows the bottom panel to distend while the container is in the collapsed state while not adversely affecting overall container strength.

The present invention is useful with any variety of bulk container designs that incorporate an internal bag within the container. The present invention uses a simple structure formed in the side walls of the container that will not only hold the bag open within the container during filling, but will also keep the bag attached to the container when the container in emptied. The bag catch assembly includes various cut lines that define a bag catch tab. Additionally another cut line(s) forms a bag retainer slit.

A blank for a stackable shelf and the shelf formed from it. The blank comprises a substantially rectangular shelf member having attached walls. Each of the sidewalls has an integral extension which extends into and is detachable from the shelf member. The height of the integral extension is greater than the height of the side wall. Each of the integral extensions has a transverse score line which divides the extension into an upper and a lower section. The height of the lower section is substantially equal to the height of said side wall.

The present invention is directed to a stackable container and container blank. In accordance with the present invention, a single sheet of foldable material is cut and scored to define container blank. The blank includes a bottom panel and a side panel connected with the bottom panel. An end panel is connected with the bottom panel. A top panel is connected with said side panel opposite the bottom panel. Also, a top panel flap is connected with said top panel. The blank further includes a corner first panel that is connected with the end panel. Also, a corner second panel is connected with the corner first panel opposite the end panel. Further, a corner third panel connected with said corner second panel opposite said corner first panel, said corner third panel defining a corner third panel cutout.

A cover panel improvement is described for a container having a bottom panel, side walls, end walls, and an open top. The improvement includes first and second cover panels connected to the side walls. Each cover panel includes side tabs that extend outwardly and fold down onto the end walls of the container. Portions of the cover panel overlap, as do portions of the side tabs. Various embodiments are provided regarding the size, shape, and placement of heavy and zero crush areas in the side tabs and cover panels. The heavy crush areas are used to reduce the overall thickness of the side tabs where overlapped. Openings may be used along the hinge line between the side tabs to help in properly forming the respective hinge line, e.g., by making the side tab more flexible along its fold line. Likewise, a spine may be used to help maintain tab stiffness.
