A sensor device includes: a sensor panel including sensors arranged in a matrix form and sensor lines electrically connected to the sensors one-to-one; and a sensor driver configured to receive sensing signals from the sensors through the sensor lines, wherein the sensor driver is configured to simultaneously receive a first sensing signal from a first sensor using a first reference signal and a second sensing signal from a second sensor using a second reference signal, wherein the first reference signal and the second reference signal have a same waveform, a phase of the second reference signal is different from a phase of the first reference signal, and wherein a phase of the second sensing signal is different from a phase of the first sensing signal.

Sensor device and display device including the same

A sensor device includes: a sensor panel including sensors arranged in a matrix, and sensor lines electrically connected to the sensors on a one-to-one basis; and a sensor driver configured to receive, using a reference signal having at least two or more duty cycles, sensing signals from the sensors through the sensor lines.

A sensor device including: a sensor array including sensor nodes; signal lines connected to the sensor nodes; and a sensor driver configured to: select each of the sensor nodes through the signal lines to sense a touch of a user that is adjacent to the sensor array; apply, through a first signal line, a first pulse signal to at least one first sensor node adjacent to the selected sensor node among the sensor nodes; and apply, through a second signal line, a second pulse signal having a polarity reverse to a polarity of the first pulse signal to at least one second sensor node among the sensor nodes, wherein the sensor driver electrically connects the first signal line to the second signal line to adjust voltage levels of the first and the second pulse signals.

Sensor device and method for controlling sensor nodes

A sensor device includes: first sensors; second sensors which forms a capacitance with the first sensors; and a sensor driver which transmits driving signals to the first sensors through first sensor lines, and receives sensing signals from the second sensors through second sensor lines. The sensor driver sequentially transmits the driving signals to the first sensors, and transmits, during each period of transmitting the driving signals, an offset signal, which is identical in frequency to and different in phase from the driving signals, to at least one selected from first sensors which does not receive the driving signals among the first sensor. The sensor driver sets at least one selected from a slew rate and a voltage level of the offset signal to a value different from a corresponding value of a corresponding driving signal.

Sensor device

A display device includes a display panel including a front surface and a rear surface, a first circuit board electrically connected to a first side of the display panel, a second circuit board electrically connected to a second side opposite to the first side of the display panel, a third circuit board disposed on the rear surface and electrically connected to the first circuit board and the second circuit board, the third circuit board extending in a first direction, and a support plate disposed on the rear surface. The display panel is foldable along a folding line extending in a second direction. The support plate has a first opening extending along the folding line, and an opening pattern near a portion of the first opening. The third circuit board overlaps the portion of the first opening. The opening pattern includes slits and the third circuit board overlaps the slits.

Display device

A display device includes: a first base member configured to be folded or unfolded along a folding axis and including a display area including a first display area disposed on one side of the folding axis, a second display area disposed on another side of the folding axis, and a third display area through which the folding axis passes; and a plurality of first sensing electrodes and a plurality of second sensing electrodes disposed in each of the first display area, the second display area, and the third display area on the first base member. Each of the plurality of first sensing electrodes and each of the plurality of second sensing electrodes are spaced apart from each other based on the folding axis interposed therebetween.

Foldable display device having a touch sensor in a foldable area

A display device and a method of driving a display device. The display device includes a housing, a display touch module including a non-exposed area covered by the housing, an exposed area located outside the housing, and an active area over the non-exposed area and the exposed area. The display touch module includes a display member configured to display an image and a touch member on the display member configured to sense a touch input. The display device also includes a boundary determining member configured to sense a capacitance of the touch member and calculate coordinates of an exposure boundary between the exposed area and non-exposed area of the display touch module. The display device is configured to adjust a display range of the active area according to the coordinates of the exposure boundary calculated by the boundary determining member.

Display device and method of driving the same

A display device includes a display panel disposed in a first non-folding region, a second non-folding region, and a folding region located between the first and second non-folding regions. The display device further includes first and second buffer members disposed on one surface of the display panel in the first and second non-folding regions, respectively, and a metal layer disposed in the first non-folding region, the second non-folding region, and the folding region on one surface of the first buffer member and one surface of the second buffer member. Display device having a touch sensor in a foldable area

The touch screen panel may include: a touch sensor that outputs sensing data through n output channels ('n' is a natural number equal to or larger than 2); a noise measuring unit that calculates a noise value of an m-th output channel ('m' is a natural number smaller than &#x201c;n&#x201d;) and a noise value of an m+1-th output channel by using the sensing data outputted from the touch sensor during a predetermined period; and a noise eliminating unit that produces noise eliminated data of the m+1-th output channel by using sensing data of the m-th output channel, sensing data of the m+1-th output channel, the noise value of the m-th output channel, and the noise value of the m+1-th output channel.

A touch screen panel and a driving method thereof. The touch screen panel includes a touch pad unit including a plurality of receiver pads and a plurality of transmitter pads combined with the receiver pads, and a touch sensing unit for determining a touch position, based on changes in mutual capacitance between the receiver pads and the transmitter pads. The touch sensing unit determines maximum values for every column by scanning touch sensing signals in the column direction of the touch pad unit, decides whether rows having maximum values for every column are the same, when the rows having the maximum values for every column are not the same, determines a greatest value by comparing all values of the scanned touch sensing signals, and determines touch coordinates through a combination of transmitter and receiver pads corresponding to the position at which the greatest value exists.
