A system for oxidizing nitrogen monoxide (NO) contained in exhaust gas injects a liquid oxidizing agent into the exhaust gas and simultaneously removes nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides from exhaust gas using an organic catalyst. The system includes an absorption tank for storing an absorption solution containing an organic catalyst, the absorption tank communicating with an oxygen supply pipe for supplying oxygen-containing gas to the absorption tank; an absorption tower, extending upward from the absorption tank, through which the exhaust gas flows from an exhaust gas inlet duct to an exhaust gas outlet; a first injection unit to inject the absorption solution into the absorption tower; a second injection unit to inject an oxidizing agent solution into at least one of the inlet duct and the absorption tower; and an oxidizing agent supply unit for supplying the oxidizing agent solution to the second injection unit.

A wet flue gas desulfurization apparatus includes an absorption tank in which an absorption solution containing an alkaline absorbent is stored; an absorption tower extending upward from the absorption tank; a flue gas inlet duct communicating with a first portion of the absorption tower; a flue gas outlet duct communicating with a second portion of the absorption tower; a spray unit to spray the absorption solution inside the absorption tower; a circulation pump to pump the absorption solution from the absorption tank and to supply the absorption solution to the spray unit; a byproduct discharging unit to discharge a byproduct downward from the absorption tank; and an oxygen supply pipe through which an oxygen-containing gas is supplied to a target point in the absorption tank, the target point being adjustable along a vertical direction or a horizontal direction, enabling adjustment of an internal position to which the gas is supplied.

Wet flue gas desulfurization apparatus

The present invention relates to a method and system for recovering carbonate from steel slag, in which it is possible to extract carbonate from steel slag and reuse the extracted carbonate, and to recycle steel slag and make use of COgas without emission to the atmosphere. Since unreacted metal ions and an acidic solvent are reused in the method and system, it is possible to increase carbonate extraction efficiency and reduce an amount of waste.
