Burner tubes for gas grills are disclosed. An example burner tube includes an open front end, a closed rear end located opposite the open front end, opposing upper and lower surfaces extending between the open front end and the closed rear end, opposing right and left side surfaces extending between the upper surface and the lower surface and between the open front end and the closed rear end, and a hollow interior defined by the upper surface, the lower surface, the right side surface, and the left side surface. The hollow interior has a rectangular cross-sectional profile that tapers in a direction moving from the open front end toward the closed rear end. The burner tube further includes a plurality of gas ports extending upwardly from the upper surface, with each one of the gas ports having an exit opening raised above the upper surface.

Burner Tubes for Gas Grills are disclosed. An example burner tube includes a linear burner tube including a venturi member disposed within a hollow interior of the linear burner tube proximate an open front end of the linear burner tube. The venturi member includes a front face having an opening configured to receive a neck of a gas valve, an upper flange extending rearwardly from an upper edge of the front face, the upper flange having a downwardly-extending V-shaped segment configured to constrict a region of the hollow interior, and a lower flange extending rearwardly from a lower edge of the front face, the lower flange having an upwardly-extending V-shaped segment configured to further constrict the region of the hollow interior.

The present inventions provide, among other things, tapered burner tubes having raised gas ports and a smooth interior surface free from obstructions. Venturi members creating a smooth flow of the gas/air mixture along the top of the burner tube are also provided.

The present invention provides a barbecue grill assembly with a support frame assembly including a left and right frame assembly. These frame assemblies are formed from a front frame member, a rear frame member, and a side member that connects the front and rear frame members. The grill assembly can have a first and a second horizontal member to connect the frame members of the left and right frame assemblies. The barbecue grill assembly further comprises a cooking chamber with a cover hingeably connected to a firebox. The firebox has a pair of opposed end walls with a mounting assembly that engages a limited extent of the front and rear frame members when the cooking chamber is connected to the support frame assembly. The end wall also have extending rails that define a channel configured to house conduit and fuel lines. Preferably, the left and right frame assemblies are pre-welded to facilitate assembly of the barbecue grill assembly.

A removable burner assembly is provided for a gas barbecue grill. The removable burner assembly has a burner frame having an open bottom and an open top, a burner connected to the burner frame, and a manifold in fluid communication with the burner. The burner frame, with the connected burner, is adapted to be removably mounted as a self-contained subassembly in the housing of the grill.

The cooking surface assembly includes a first portion or griddle and a second portion or grate . The second portion or grate has a plurality of openings and a plurality of ribs . The duct has an end that is cooperatively positioned with the aperture to form a passageway or channel . Barbecue grill cooking surface assembly

The present invention-provides a welded-frame assembly of a barbecue gas grill, or an accessory cart. The frame assembly comprises a plurality of elongated support members and a plurality of elongated channel members having at least a portion of generally U-shaped cross section and including an inner welding surface and an outer cosmetic surface. The channel members are disposed transverse to the support members and arranged such that their ends abut against the support members. A plurality of weld joints are each disposed on the inner welding surface of the channel members and a portion of the support members. The weld joints provide attachment of the support members and the channel members to form the welded frame assembly without substantial discoloration of the outer cosmetic surfaces of the channel members. Furthermore, the weld joints are substantially concealed for aesthetic purposes.
