A method is provided for producing a support structure, preferably a support structure for a vehicle seat having at least one seat shell for the seat part and/or the backrest of the vehicle seat, having the following method steps of producing a metal semi-finished product and reshaping it into an essentially flat plate, detaching a plate part from the plate, and deforming the plate part, the production of the metal semi-finished product being performed by extrusion. The semi-finished product may be already formed into a flat plate by the extrusion or the extrusion is performed with production of a curved plate, which is subsequently reshaped into a flat plate.

Method for producing a support structure, preferably a support structure for vehicle seat

A motor vehicle, a vehicle seat for a motor vehicle, and a drive device are provided for swiveling-in and swiveling-out a vehicle seat that is swivelable about a substantially vertical axis, in particular for a front motor vehicle seat which is connected to a motor vehicle by means of a rotary frame. The drive device includes, but is not limited to a first drive unit that applies a driving force for causing a swiveling movement of the seat in at least one swiveling direction. A second drive unit is provided which acts against the first drive unit to provide a second driving force which acts simultaneously against the driving force of the first drive unit, which second driving force causes a second swiveling movement of the vehicle seat.

A motor vehicle seat is provided with a seat back which can be tilted from a substantially upright use position into a substantially horizontal non-use position. The seat back has at least one wing-rest which, in the non-use position of the seat back, can be tilted about a tilting axis extending in seat direction from a lower armrest non-use position into an upper armrest use position for forming an armrest. The wing-rest is preloaded into the armrest use position. A seat arrangement is also provided with such a motor vehicle seat.

A motor vehicle seat is provided with an adjusting device that includes, but is not limited to a longitudinal sliding device for sliding the motor vehicle seat in a longitudinal direction and a transverse sliding device for sliding the motor vehicle seat in transverse direction. The transverse sliding device includes, but is not limited to at least one swiveling lever which on the one hand is arranged on the longitudinal sliding device and on the other hand indirectly or directly on the motor vehicle seat. The swiveling lever can be swiveled from a first swiveling position, in which the motor vehicle seat is arranged in a transverse position, into a second swiveling position in which the motor vehicle seat relative to the first transverse position is arranged in transverse direction offset in a second transverse position.

A storage compartment is provided for a motor vehicle that includes, but is not limited to a motor vehicle seat. The storage compartment further includes, but is not limited to a movable element, a cargo space in the motor vehicle defined with the movable element that is at least partially bordered by the motor vehicle seat and situated with respect to the motor vehicle seat, and a wall bordering the cargo space in at least one direction and detachably coupled with the movable element with a coupling element so that the wall moves with the movable element.

A utility seat encompasses a length of fabric of a tear-resistant, flexible material that can be secured to two spaced apart vehicle seats in a row of seats between the two vehicle seats to form the utility seat. A backrest section and a seat section are arranged thereupon. The length of fabric can be refracted into a cassette to be arranged between the vehicle seats when the utility seat is not in use, and extended from the cassette when using the utility seat. The cassette has a width configured to accommodate the length of fabric.

A motor vehicle seat is provided that includes, but is not limited to a backrest, which may be pivoted from an essentially upright usage position into an essentially horizontal non-usage position and which has at least one wing rest, which includes, but is not limited to a support part and a cushion part fastened on the support part. The support part is linked on a middle backrest part in such a way that the wing rest may be pivoted, in the non-usage position of the backrest, from a lower armrest non-usage position around the pivot axis extending in the seat direction into an upper armrest usage position to implement an armrest. In the armrest usage position, the cushion part is situated above the middle backrest part while implementing an intermediate space between the cushion part and the middle backrest part. The support part has a cover plate, which covers the intermediate space in one transverse direction. Furthermore, a seating configuration is provided having such a motor vehicle seat.

A motor vehicle seat is provided with a backrest which can be pivoted from a substantially upright position of use into a substantially horizontal position of non-use. The backrest includes, but is not limited to a wing rest which in the position of non-use of the backrest can be pivoted from a lower armrest position of non-use about a pivot axis extending in seat direction into an upper armrest position of use to form an armrest. The wing rest includes, but is not limited to a support part as well as an upholstery part and between the support part and the upholstery part a height adjusting device for the height adjustment of the upholstery part relative to the support part is arranged.

A seat arrangement is provided that includes, but is not limited to a first and a second vehicle seat, which are disposed adjacent to one another in a seat row and of which the first vehicle seat has a backrest, which can be pivoted from a substantially upright usage position in the seat direction forward into a substantially horizontal non-usage position. The backrest, includes, but is not limited to at least one height-adjustable cushion portion which, in the non-usage position of the backrest, can be moved by means of a four-bar mechanism having four articulation axes from a lower armrest non-usage position into an upper first armrest position to form an armrest for the second vehicle seat. The articulation axes extend transversely to the seat direction and are inclined with respect to a horizontal transverse to the seat direction. In an alternative embodiment, the articulation axes extend in the seat direction in the non-usage position of the backrest.

An automobile seat is provided that includes, but is not limited to a backrest, a seat portion, a backrest pivoting mechanism, and a two-link seat-portion pivoting mechanism. The seat portion is fastened to the backrest or the backrest pivoting mechanism so that it is pivotable about a first transverse axis and the backrest is fastened to the backrest pivoting mechanism so that it is pivotable about a second transverse axis, so that the backrest may be pivoted from a usage position in which the seat portion adopts a first position, forward about the second transverse axis into a non-usage position, in which the seat portion occupies a second position, in which the seat portion is displaced rearward with respect to the first position. The backrest pivoting mechanism is a four-link backrest pivoting mechanism, which is configured in such a manner that the second transverse axis may be displaced rearward into the non-usage position by pivoting the backrest.

A seat arrangement is provided for an automobile comprising a vehicle seat, a longitudinal guide for displacement of the vehicle seat in the longitudinal direction, and a transverse guide for displacement of the vehicle seat in the transverse direction. A forced guidance is furthermore provided, this being configured in such a manner that during displacement in the longitudinal or transverse direction, the vehicle seat is automatically also displaced in the transverse or longitudinal direction.
