The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for assembling a packaging combination including a tubular casing having a first end and a second end, wherein the tubular casing is partially filled with filling material and closed at its first as well as its second end by a closure means, like a closure clip, and wherein the partially filled tubular casing comprises a plait-like portion at its first end being at least approximately free of filling material, and further including a dispensing device having a passageway extending through the dispensing device with an inlet opening at its one end and a dispensing opening at its other end for guiding and dispensing the filling material in a dispensing direction. The present invention further relates to a packaging combination comprises a tubular casing, a dispensing device and a sealing device removably attached to the dispensing device.

Assembling apparatus, assembling method and packaging combination

The present invention relates to a packaging combination for accommodating and dispensing a filling material. The packaging combination comprises a tubular casing having a first end, a second end and a central axis extending through first and second ends, wherein the tubular casing is tightly filled with filling material and closed at its first and second end by a closure means. The packaging combination further comprises a dispensing system including a dispensing device having a passageway extending through the dispensing device with an inlet opening at its one end and an outlet opening at its other end and being attached to the first end of the tightly filled tubular casing, the first end of the tubular casing extending inside the passageway. The system further comprises a dispensing cap having an attachment end and a dispensing end reversibly attachable to the outlet opening of the dispensing device, by its attachment end.

Packaging combination

A clipping device is provided for closing at least one closure, like a closure clip, in a packaging machine, for closing tubular or bag-shaped packaging casings as well as a method for controlling a clipping device. The clipping device includes a first closing tool and a second closing tool, wherein at least the first closing tool is reversibly movable towards the second closing tool, between an opened position and a closed position, for closing the at least one closure means and a drive for reversibly moving at least the first closing tool towards the second closing tool in a closing direction. In the clipping device, a monitoring device is provided in the region of the second closing tool for monitoring the second closing tool being prepared for the next clipping cycle.

The invention concerns a method and an apparatus for producing a tubular packaging casing, wherein a film web is fed in a feeding direction to forming means for forming a tubular casing having edge areas which extend in the feeding direction and which are arranged adjacent to each other, and wherein the edge areas are bonded together in a bonding station having one bonding tool. Moreover, the bonding tool can be moved in a first and a second working position for carrying out two alternative processes of firmly bonding in one of each of the working positions for bonding the edge areas of the tubular casing together.

The present invention relates to packaging combination for accommodating and dispensing a viscous or granular filling material. The packaging combination comprises a tubular casing having a first end and a second end, wherein the tubular casing is closed at its first as well as its second end by a closure means. The packaging combination further comprises a dispensing device having a passageway extending through the dispensing device with an inlet opening at its one end and a dispensing opening at its other end for guiding and dispensing the filling material in a dispensing direction, and being attached to the first end closed tubular casing.

A clipping machine for producing sausage-shaped products, containing a flowable filling material, like a sealing compound, in a tubular casing material. The clipping machine comprises a filling tube for feeding filling material into the tubular casing material stored on the filling tube and being closed at the front end by a closing clip, a clipping device for placing and closing at least one closing clip on the back end of a tubular casing material just filled, and a control unit for controlling the clipping machine. The clipping machine further comprises a first sensor for measuring the pull-off length of the tubular casing material pulled off from the filling tube as well as a second sensor for measuring the movement of the filling material while being fed to the tubular casing material.

A filling device and associated method for filling viscous filling material, in particular sealants, into a tubular casing material. The filling device comprises: a shutoff valve, a filling tube disposed downstream from the shutoff valve in the direction of flow of the filling material, a clip placement and clip closing device disposed downstream from the filling tube in the direction of flow of the filling material and a supply of tubular casing material disposed at least partially on the filling tube. At least one sensor is also provided for directly or indirectly measuring the length of casing material drawn from the supply of casing material, the output signal of the sensor being able to control at least the closing of the shutoff valve through which the pressurized filling material can be fed to the filling tube.

Filling device and method for filling with viscous filling material

A clipping machine and a method for producing sausage-shaped products formed by a tubular casing material containing a flowable filling material. The clipping machine includes a filling tube for feeding filling material into the tubular casing material stored on the filling tube and being closed at the front end by a closing clip. The clipping machine further includes a closing device including at least two closing tools, being reversably movable relative to one another between an opened position and a closed position for placing and closing at least one closing clip for forming a sausage-shaped product. In addition, a suction device is provided, having at least a suction opening being located in the region of the front end of the filling tube for sucking a fluid segregated from the filling material into the tubular casing material while being filled.

A retention device for a tubular casing material for receiving a viscous or granular filling material in a packaging machine, in particular a clipping machine that has a filling tube for filling the tubular casing material with the filling material, where the retention device includes: a first brake ring, which can be mounted coaxially on the filling tube, the inner diameter of first brake ring being larger than the outer diameter of the filling tube and on the inner circumference of which a first brake is provided, along which the casing material can be guided in the filling direction of the filling material against a friction force acting upon the casing material. A second brake ring is also provided which can be stationarily disposed on the filling tube and which has a counter-brake on its outer circumference, where the casing material can be guided between the first brake of the first brake ring and the counter-brake of the second brake ring and where the first brake ring is reversibly displaceable in the filling direction for setting a predetermined friction force for the casing material at the first brake of the first brake ring and at the counter-brake of the second brake ring.

A method of and an apparatus for controlled closure of at least one clip around a filling material-free plait portion of a tubular casing at a filling material portion enclosed by the casing, where the at least one clip is closed with at least one closure device and where the filling material portion is successively filled with a moved product flow of the filling material and in that operation the casing is withdrawn from a casing supply device, and where moreover the withdrawal movement of the casing is sensed with a sensing device and a control signal is formed therefrom for the joint movement of the at least one closure device with the product flow.

An apparatus for producing film tube which can be filled with liquid, viscous or granular filling material, from a film strip, is provided wherein the apparatus comprises a filling tube which can be connected to a filling machine, a device for transforming the film strip into a film tube, a sealing device for sealing longitudinal edges of the film strip, an advance drive means for the film tube and a measuring device for determining the amount of film tube delivered by the sealing device. The measuring device includes a first sensor which detects the length of the film tube delivered by the sealing device to the film tube supply and a second sensor which detects the length of the film tube drawn off the film tube supply.

In a process for the production of portion packs of viscous to pasty filling material such as sausage meat, grease, putty or cement and the like in a tubular film () which is formed prior to introduction of the filling material () by welding or sealing of the longitudinal edges of a film strip () drawn off a supply and bent into a tubular form, and into which filling material portions are discontinuously introduced under pressure, whereupon the tubular film () is closed with braid formation, the tubular film () is drawn out of the welding or sealing station towards the filling station directly by the filling pressure and film strip () is subsequently drawn along from the supply into the welding or sealing station.
