The present invention relates to a chemically strengthened glass satisfying A[MPa] of 600 or more, A[MPa] of 50 or more, B[μm] of 6 or less, B[μm] of 10% or more of t [μm], C [MPa] of −30 or less, and A/B[MPa/μm] of 100 or more when the chemically strengthened glass has a thickness t [μm] and a profile of a stress value [MPa] at a depth×[μm] from a glass surface is approximated by an error least-squares method in a region of 0<x<3t/8 using the following function while defining a compressive stress as positive and a tensile stress as negative: Aerfc(x/B)+Aerfc(x/B)+C, in which erfc is a complementary error function, and relations of A>Aand B<Bare satisfied.

Chemically strengthened glass

A supporting glass substrate includes a compression stress layer on a surface thereof, and has an average thermal expansion coefficient at 50° C. to 200° C. that is 7 ppm/° C. to 15 ppm/° C., an internal tensile stress that is 5 MPa to 55 MPa, and a depth of the compression stress layer that is 10 μm to 60 μm.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a chemically strengthened glass in which reduction in glass surface strength is effectively suppressed even without performing a polishing treatment after a prolonged chemical strengthening treatment has been conducted at a high temperature. The present invention relates to a chemically strengthened glass having a specific glass composition, wherein: the surface roughness (Ra) is a specific value or greater; the compressive stress layer depth of a surface layer is a specific value or greater; by setting the hydrogen concentration in the glass surface layer to be within a specific range, the surface strength of the glass is dramatically improved even without performing an etching treatment using hydrofluoric acid or polishing the glass surface after a prolonged chemical strengthening treatment has been conducted at a high temperature.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a chemically strengthened glass, the method including, performing a chemical strengthening treatment including the following steps (1) to (3) to a glass having a specific composition, (1) a step of bringing the glass into contact with an inorganic salt composition including 70 mass % or more of potassium nitrate to perform ion exchange; (2) a step of bringing the glass having been ion-exchanged in step (1) into contact with an inorganic salt composition including 50 mass % or more of sodium nitrate to perform ion exchange; and (3) a step of bringing the glass having been ion-exchanged in step (2) into contact with an inorganic salt composition including 70 mass % or more of potassium nitrate to perform ion exchange.

Production method of chemically strengthened glass, and chemically strengthened glass

A chemically strengthened glass has a compressive stress layer formed in a glass surface layer by ion exchange. The compressive stress layer includes at least two types of stress patterns of a stress pattern A close to a glass surface and a stress pattern B on an inner side of the glass. In the stress pattern A, compressive stress increases as going inward from the glass surface. In the stress pattern B, compressive stress decreases as going inward from the glass surface. Depth of compressive stress layer in the stress pattern B is 90 &#x3bc;m or more from the glass surface. Compressive stress &#x3b1; MPa of the glass surface in the stress pattern A and compressive stress &#x3b2; MPa at a point where the stress pattern A and the stress pattern B cross each other satisfy a relation of &#x3b2;&#x3e;&#x3b1;.

Chemically strengthened glass and method for producing the same

An object of the present invention is to provide a chemically strengthened glass that can effectively suppress strength of a glass from being deteriorated even though performing chemical strengthening and has high transmittance (that is, low reflectivity). The present invention relates to a chemically strengthened glass having a compressive stress layer formed on a surface layer thereof by an ion exchange method, in which the glass contains sodium and boron, and has a delta transmittance being +0.1% or more, and in which a straight line obtained by a linear approximation of a hydrogen concentration Y in a region of a depth X from an outermost surface of the glass satisfies a specific relational equation in X=0.1 to 0.4 (&#x3bc;m).

The present invention relates to a chemically strengthened glass having a compressive stress layer formed on a surface layer thereof by an ion exchange method, in which a straight line obtained by a linear approximation of a hydrogen concentration Y in a region of a depth X from an outermost surface of the glass satisfies a specific relational equation (I) in X=0.1 to 0.4 (&#x3bc;m), and an edge surface connecting main surfaces on a front side and a back side of the glass has a skewness (Rsk) measured based on JIS B0601 (2001) being &#x2212;1.3 or more.

A chemically strengthened glass having a compressive stress layer formed in a surface layer thereof according to an ion exchange method, in which a surface of the glass has polishing flaws, the glass has a texture direction index (Stdi) of 0.30 or more, a hydrogen concentration Y in a region to a depth X from an outermost surface of the glass satisfies the following relational equation (I) at X=from 0.1 to 0.4 (&#x3bc;m), and a surface strength F (N) measured by a ball-on-ring test is (F&#x2265;1400&#xd7;t) relative to a sheet thickness t (mm) of the glass:&#x2003;&#x2003;(I)in which meanings of respective symbols in the equation (I) are as follows: Y: hydrogen concentration (as HO, mol/L), X: depth from the outermost surface of the glass (&#x3bc;m), a: &#x2212;0.300 or more, and b: 0.220 or less.

A method for producing a chemically strengthened glass, including a step of bringing a glass containing sodium into contact with an inorganic salt containing potassium nitrate, thereby performing ion exchange of a Na ion in the glass with a K ion in the inorganic salt, in which the inorganic salt contains at least one salt selected from the group consisting of KCO, NaCO, KHCO, NaHCO, KPO, NaPO, KSO, NaSO, KOH and NaOH, and the method includes: a step of washing the glass after the ion exchange; a step of subjecting the glass to an acid treatment after the washing; and a step of subjecting the glass to an alkali treatment after the acid treatment.

Method for producing chemically strengthened glass

A glass plate includes two main flat surfaces, and a side surface adjacent to the two main flat surfaces. At least one edge part of the side surface includes a chamfered part in a thickness direction of the glass plate. The side surface includes a predetermined portion. In a case where the predetermined portion is etched with a depth of 10 &#x3bc;m, an etched surface of the predetermined portion includes no pit having a depth greater than or equal to 1 &#x3bc;m. The predetermined portion is a portion of the side surface in which a distance from one of the two main flat surfaces adjacent to the chamfered part in the thickness direction of the glass plate is less than or equal to &#x2155; of the thickness of the glass plate.
