An excimer lamp includes an exterior tube, an interior tube coaxially arranged in the exterior tube, and an inner electrode embedded between the exterior tube and a cladding tube configured to cover at least part of the exterior tube. An outer electrode is provided at the side of the outer surface of the exterior tube. The inner electrode is a foil electrode and the opposite sides of the inner electrode are flattened along the width direction. Both edges of the inner electrode are pointed.

Excimer lamp and UV irradiation unit including the same

An excimer lamp includes a discharge tube, a band-shaped foil electrode provided in the discharge tube, and a dielectric configured to cover the foil electrode and maintain close contact with the foil electrode. The foil electrode extends along the axis of said discharge tube. The opposite sides of the foil electrode are flattened along the width direction of the foil electrode. Both edge portions of the foil electrode are pointed.

An apparatus for measuring hardness of an ultraviolet curing transformation agent comprising a stain of the present invention comprises a light source device for emitting beams including ultraviolet rays, an optical filter member through which the ultraviolet rays having a predetermined wavelength among the beams emitted from the light source device pass, and a measuring device for measuring electric conductivity of the ultraviolet curing transformation agent comprising the stain, provided at a location where the ultraviolet rays having the predetermined wavelength irradiate. Further, the measuring device comprises an electrode portion including electrodes on which the ultraviolet curing transformation agent is applied, and the electrodes are connected through a power supply and a measuring device for measuring the electric conductivity. Therefore, the measuring apparatus of the present invention can readily and rapidly determine the hardness of the UV curing transformation agent comprising a stain such as a pigment, corresponding to the printing condition.

Apparatus for measuring hardness of ultraviolet curing transformation

An apparatus for photochemically decomposing a photoresist is disclosed wherein processing time can be minimized by inducing a uniform photochemical oxidative decomposing reaction over the whole surface of a base board, and an ozone gas atmosphere can be utilized efficiently. The apparatus includes a rotatable circular table supporting one or more base boards and an ashing platform arranged around the periphery of the table including an ozone feeding slit and an ozone discharge slit. The apparatus also includes a plurality of ultraviolet ray lamps arranged inside a box-shaped vessel located above the ashing platform. An upper cover plate is pivotally mounted on the ashing platform and includes a transparent window plate through which the ultraviolet rays pass to irradiate the base boards. An airtight flat space is formed between the ashing platform and the upper cover to contain the ozone atmosphere.

Apparatus for photochemically ashing a photoresist

A shellfish extract concentrate is prepared by subjecting an extract of a shellfish (exclusive of oyster) having a solid concentration not higher than 30% by weight to an adsorption purification treatment with an adsorbent composed mainly of a water-insoluble inorganic magnesium compound, which has a specific surface area of at least 50 m.sup.2 /g, and concentrating the refined liquid in a substantially non-oxidizing atmosphere. In this shellfish extract concentrate, black and blackish brown coloring components are not contained, and flavor components and nutrients are not substantially lost. Accordingly, this shellfish extract concentrate is excellent in taste, flavor and hue.

A decolorized oyster extract concentrate is formed by an adsorption purification treatment using a specific inorganic lamellar magnesium phyllosilicate compound and a concentration treatment. Coloring components can be effectively removed without substantial reduction of the contents of taste components and nutrients. The decolorized oyster extract concentrate is very valuable as a seasoning or healthy food.
