A configuration to allow for the transmission of system information on different beams, where different transmission parameters may be utilized for different beams. The apparatus transmits system information on a first beam. The apparatus transmits the system information on a second beam. The system information is transmitted using different parameters for the first beam and the second beam or comprises different system information content for the first beam and the second beam.

A user equipment (UE) and base station may be configured to implement interleaving enhancement during an aggregated monitoring occasion. In some aspects, the UE may receive control resource set and search space configuration information including enhanced-coverage PDCCH procedure information identifying an aggregated monitoring occasion of a grouping of PDCCH monitoring occasions having repetition of a same PDCCH, and interleaving enhancement information indicating different interleaving parameter configurations for at least two PDCCH monitoring occasions in the grouping of PDCCH monitoring occasions in the aggregated monitoring occasion. Further, the UE may decode signals received on resources for the at least two PDCCH monitoring occasions based on the different interleaving parameter configurations for the at least two PDCCH monitoring occasion in the grouping of PDCCH monitoring occasions in the aggregated monitoring occasion.

In some implementations, a method of wireless communication includes selecting, at a user equipment (UE), one or more control resource sets (CORESETs) from a plurality of CORESETs corresponding to the UE. The method further includes performing a radio link monitoring (RLM) operation, a beam failure detection (BFD) operation, or both, based on one or more reference signals (RSs) corresponding to active TCI states associated with the one or more selected CORESETs.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for application of a repetition factor to uplink (UL) control channels. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, on a downlink (DL) control channel, an indication of a configuration for repetition of a UL control channel scheduled by the DL control channel and another UL control channel, wherein the configuration is applied for repetition of the other UL control channel after a configured time period starting from reception of the DL control channel; and transmitting the repetition of the UL control channel and the repetition of the other UL control channel in accordance with the configuration.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication that the UE supports a plurality of cyclic prefix configurations. The UE may receive, from a network entity, an indication of a first cyclic prefix configuration of the plurality of cyclic prefix configurations, the first cyclic prefix configuration indicating a first symbol period structure that includes a guard interval that occurs in a symbol period prior to a portion of the symbol period copied as a cyclic prefix based at least in part on a delay spread exceeding a length of the cyclic prefix. Generally, a base station may implicitly indicate a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) repetition factor for a user equipment (UE) to use on a next PUCCH via the selection of an aggregation level for the preceding physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). For example, the base station may configure relationships between PUCCH repetition factors and aggregation levels. To determine which PUCCH repetition factor the UE should use, the base station may select the corresponding aggregation level, and may transmit a downlink control message (e.g., a downlink control information (DCI) message) on a PDCCH using the selected aggregation level that corresponds to the desired PUCCH repetition factor.

A first wireless device may receive a signal including multiple sets of bits, where each set of bits of the multiple sets of bits is associated with either a first group or a second group based on a respective modulation index for each set of bits. The first wireless device may decode either or both of a first message formed at least partially by the one or more additional bits or a second message formed at least partially by respective sets of bits associated with the second group.
