A vehicle body includes: a rear side member that is extended in the front-rear direction at the rear portion of the vehicle body; a back panel that is in contact with a rear end of the rear side member; and a crash box that is disposed between the back panel and a rear bumper and is positioned behind the rear side member. The crash box is fixed to the back panel with a bolt passed through a bolt hole that is extended through the back panel and that is positioned above the rear end of the rear side member. The rear side member is a hollow beam having a pair of side plates, an upper plate, and a lower plate, and a rear portion of the upper plate configures a flange that is bent upward along a lower back panel. The flange covers the bolt and the bolt hole.

Vehicle body

An electric vehicle may include a body, a bracket fixed in a rear potion of the body, a low-voltage component supported by the bracket and a high-voltage component located frontward of the low-voltage component. The bracket may include a front end fixed to the body at a position frontward of the low-voltage component, a rear end fixed to the body at a position rearward of the low-voltage component and at least one bend located between the front end and the rear end and each having an upwardly protruding shape. The at least one bend may include one or both of a first bend located frontward of the low-voltage component and a second bend located rearward of the low-voltage component.

Electric vehicle

A vehicle body rear structure of an electric vehicle may include: a high-voltage device arranged in a rear portion of the electric vehicle, wherein the high-voltage device is included in an electric powertrain of the electric vehicle or is electrically connected to the electric powertrain, and the high-voltage device is operable on a voltage over AC 30 or DC 60 volts; a low-voltage device arranged rearward of the high-voltage device at a same height level as the high-voltage device, wherein the low-voltage device is operable at a voltage lower than AC 30 or DC 60 volts; and a crossmember passing between the high-voltage device and the low-voltage device.

Vehicle body rear structure of electric vehicle

An electric vehicle may include a body; a low-voltage component disposed in a rear portion of the body; and at least one coupling member securing the low-voltage component to a plurality of securing portions of the body. The plurality of securing portions may include at least one first securing portion located forward of the low-voltage component in a vehicle front-rear direction and at least one second securing portion located rearward of the low-voltage component in the vehicle front-rear direction. A center of the at least one first securing portion and a center of the at least one second securing portion are located at different positions from each other in a vehicle vertical direction.

Electric vehicle having low-voltage component in rear portion of vehicle body

An electric vehicle may include a body; a spare tire disposed in a rear portion of the body; and a brace fixed to the body, extending along a vehicle longitudinal direction, and supporting the spare tire from below. The brace may include a front end fixed to the body, a rear end fixed to the body at a position rearward of the front end, and a bent portion located between the front end and the rear end. The bent portion of the brace is located above a straight line extending between the front end and the rear end of the brace.
