A gearing arrangement for a spindle drive arrangement may have a gearing housing and a gearing holder. The gearing holder may have at least two receiving openings, one for each fastening screw or one for each fastening bolt for fastening to another component, in particular to a vehicle seat. The at least two receiving openings may be oriented at right-angles and/or obliquely with respect to one another. A spindle drive arrangement having such a gearing arrangement, and also to a vehicle seat having such a spindle drive arrangement is also provided.

At least one pivot axle (y), about which the spindle drive () is rotatably and/or pivotably mountable or mounted, is formed by at least one of the components of the component group. At least one receptacle, for the at least one pivot axle (y), is formed by at least one other of the components of the component group.

An adjusting device for a vehicle seat may have a first adjustable assembly, a second adjustable assembly, and an electric motor. The electric motor may be operatively connected both to an adjustment gearing of the first adjustable assembly as well as to an adjustment gearing of the second adjustable assembly by at least one output shaft. A motor support may be provided which receives the electric motor, and the motor support may be secured to the two adjustable assemblies via a respective adapter. The motor support may have a metal material as a single piece. The adapters may be made of a non-metal material. In the method for producing a spindle drive of an adjustment device of a motor vehicle seat, the adjustment device comprises a spindle and a nut unit. The nut unit comprises a nut made from plastic and a retainer in which the nut is retained. The nut has an internal thread which is in engagement with the spindle and has recesses in its outer jacket. The method comprises the following steps: the tube section is pushed over the nut during assembly, the nut is located within the tube section, the tube section, in the areas in which the recesses of the nut are located, is deformed into the area of the recesses and a portion of material of the tube section is located in the recesses.

An adjusting device, in particular a height or longitudinal adjusting device for motor vehicle seats, including a threaded spindle that is rotatably mounted in a gearbox housing at one end and in a receiving unit at the other end, the receiving unit having an inner thread that is adapted to the spindle thread. The adjusting device also includes a motor unit that is operatively connected to the threaded spindle. An adjusting device and a seat base frame for motor vehicle seats with an adjusting device that transmits forces that occur in the event of a crash to the required degree are provided. A reinforcing element is provided in the gearbox housing such that said element is suitable for receiving forces that act in the longitudinal axial direction of the threaded spindle in the event of a crash.

The spindle drive of an adjustment device of a motor vehicle seat comprises a spindle () and a nut unit (), wherein the nut unit () comprises a nut () made from plastic and a retainer. The nut () is in engagement with the spindle () by means of an internal thread () and retained in the retainer. The nut () has an outer jacket comprising recesses (). The retainer is configured as a tube section () comprising an inner space adapted to the outer jacket. The tube section (), in the area of the recesses () is deformed towards the inside such that material of the tube section () is located within the recesses ().
