A method and relative apparatus for testing the tightness of a container closed by a membrane are described. The method includes steps of: submitting the container to a deforming action to increase the pressure inside the container; submitting the membrane to an abutting action to counteract the deformation of the membrane caused by the deforming action; maintaining the action of abutting the membrane at the same time as the action of deforming the container for a set period of time; interrupting the action of abutting the membrane at the end of the period of time; detecting at least one parameter related to a membrane profile when the abutting action has ceased; and comparing the at least one parameter related to the membrane profile with a predefined threshold to verify whether the tightness of the container is to be classified as defective.

Method and apparatus for testing the tightness of a container closed by a membrane

A machine for making filled pasta includes first and second feeding device for feeding first and second layers of pasta dough, and a shaping device for shaping the filled pasta, located downstream of the feeding devices. A machine for making filled pasta products and which comprises a first feeding device for feeding a first layer of pasta dough and a second feeding device for feeding a second layer of pasta dough; a shaping device for shaping the filled pasta products, located downstream of the first and second feeding devices, with reference to the direction of unrolling the first and second layers of pasta dough; the shaping device includes a first and a second advancing and shaping roller for advancing and shaping the first and the second layer, respectively, each including a respective supporting roller having on its peripheral surface respective moulds for shaping the respective first and second layers of dough and each configured to be assembled to and disassembled from the respective supporting roller.

A feeding unit for feeding a food product for a machine for making filled pasta includes at least one feed duct having an outlet and an inlet; a sleeve fitted coaxially over the duct and rotatable relative thereto about an axis of rotation R in order to regulate the cross section of the inlet; an actuator including a stem inserted in the sleeve and movable between a first, retracted operating position and a second, extracted operating position to allow the food product to enter the feed duct and to push at least one single portion of food product out of the duct through the outlet; a second sleeve, fitted between the first sleeve and the stem, the stem sliding inside the second sleeve and the first sleeve rotating on the second sleeve.

An apparatus for feeding pasta sheet into a pasta-making machine, includes a feed device for feeding a strip of pasta sheet along a predetermined path, and a punching device designed to operate on the strip in the stop condition so as to punch the strip and obtain from the strip cut pieces of pasta sheet intended to be wrapped around respective portions of filling, thereby producing respective pieces of filled pasta. The apparatus includes a speed variator device for the feed speed of the strip, interposed between the feed device and the punching device for causing, during each machine cycle of the apparatus, a variation in the speed of a branch of the strip positioned at the punching device which, in combination with the speed at which the strip is supplied by the feed device, stops the branch of the strip.

A method and unit for folding a sheet of wrapping material about a group of cigarettes includes feeding the cigarettes and wrapping material into a pocket of a wrapping conveyor so the sheet of wrapping material folds into a U inside the pocket and has an outer end projecting from the pocket, and an inner end resting on a lateral wall of the cigarettes. The method also includes folding the inner end 90&#xb0; so the inner end is perpendicular to the lateral wall. The method also includes folding the outer end into an L inside the pocket, onto the lateral wall of the cigarettes and onto the inner end perpendicular to the lateral wall so as to superimpose the outer end and the inner end and impart a tubular shape to the sheet of wrapping material. The method also includes heat sealing the outer and inner ends together.
