The present invention provides modular sliding door rollers for use in sliding doors. The modular sliding door rollers have a major roller unit and one or more minor roller units modularly connected together in series. The major and minor roller units have a roller which is adjustable to extend out of and retract into the major and minor roller units by adjusting a roller adjuster on the major roller unit. Two pairs of partially overlapping and divergent roller axle slots are provided on each of the major and minor roller units to provide for extension and retraction of the rollers.

Modular sliding door rollers

A lock system for the inactive door of a two door swinging combination is provided which prevents the active door from being latched or completely closed without locking the inactive door in place against the door frame and/or floor. Further, with the active door closed, the latch of the active door prevents movement of the slider of the inactive door lock mechanism and thereby prevents any unlocking of the inactive door until the latch of the active door has been removed and the active door opened.

Multi-point inactive door lock

A deadbolt lock system is provided for a swinging door which prevents movement of the deadbolts from a locked position to an unlocked position when the door is open. Movement of the deadbolts from an unlocked to a locked position when the door is opened is prevented by a slide plate which is locked into a deadbolt deactivating position by a plunger which is biased outward when the door is opened. The system also provides for an unlocking of the deadbolts and an opening of the door with a single rotation of the inside handle.

Door lock for swinging door

The present invention provides a sash lock for double hung windows. The sash lock is fabricated without a spring for biasing the cam into a closed or open position and further without a screw or fastening means to secure the lever, housing and cam together. The four primary components of the sash lock, specifically the lever, housing, cam and keeper mount may be fabricated from injection molded plastic as opposed to metallic materials.

Sash lock

A door lock has a latch which is rotatable from a retracted position to an extended position by means of a linkage. A safety button extends from the latch when the latch is retracted. The linkage cannot be moved unless the safety button has been pressed, which occurs when the door is adjacent the door frame. This prevents the latch from extending and so damaging the keeper in the door frame. The linkage also has a notch which cooperates with a tang projecting from the housing. The tang an notch prevent the latch from being rotated from the extended position to the retracted position except by operation of the linkage. This feature makes it difficult to force the lock open without a key. In addition, one or more remote locks may be added to the main lock. With two remote locks it is possible to provide three anchor points for a door. Further, the remote locks are individually adjustable so that the reach of the latches can be varied to suit the configuration of the door frame or door, and so to accommodate irregularities due to installation or warpage. One of the remote locks can rotate in the opposite direction from the main lock so that the door cannot be lifted off its track.
