A method and system to assign a task to a first thread pool in view of a determination that a previous execution time associated with the task is less than or equal to a threshold execution time. A second thread pool is designated to execute one or more tasks that have an execution time that exceeds the threshold execution time. The method and system may determine that a first execution time associated with the task exceeds the threshold execution time. The task is reassigned to the second thread pool in view of the determination that the first execution time exceeds the threshold execution time.

Thread pool management

An indication of an update to a server system may be received. In response to receiving the indication that the server system has been updated, a description associated with resources of the server system may be received. One or more functions associated with the resources of the server system from the received description may be identified where the one or more functions are associated with accessing the resources of the server system. A binding may be created for a client system in view of the indication that the server system has been updated and the identified one or more functions associated with the resources of the server system to map the one or more functions of the server system to another function of the client system.

Creation of a binding based on a description associated with a server

A remote execution request is received from a client, specifying first and second remote execution tools and execution data pertaining to the tools and comprising a query to select host machines. First and second host machines are selected in view of a result of the query and the first and second tools. A script is generated in view of the execution data and first metadata describing components of the host machines. A plurality of execution proxy machines are selected in view of the first and second hosts. A first template associated with the first tool and a second template associated with the second tool are generated in view of the script. The first template and the second template are transmitted to first and second execution proxy machines, respectively. Outputs from remote execution of the templates are received from the first and second hosts and transmitted to the client.

Distributed remote execution

Aspects of the disclosure provide for mechanisms for dynamically managing thread pools in a computer system. A method of the disclosure includes receiving a user request to perform an action in a computer system; determining an execution plan for the user request, wherein the execution plan comprises a plurality of tasks; assigning, by a processing device, each of the plurality of tasks to one of a plurality of thread pools for execution; monitoring executions of the plurality of tasks in the thread pools; and reassigning, by the processing device, a first task of the plurality of tasks to a new thread pool in view of the monitoring.

A system and method of executing a script includes receiving, by a service user account module, a user script from a first user account. The method includes issuing, by a management system, execution data including the user script and validation parameters. The method includes signing, by the management system, the execution data with a private key. Responsive to signing the execution data, the execution data further includes a digital signature. The method further includes authorizing, by the management system, communication to a remote execution tool, where authorization requires the digital signature. The method further includes sending, to the remote execution tool, the execution data including the digital signature. The method further includes confirming, by the remote execution tool, the validation parameters. The method further includes, responsive to confirming the validation parameters, executing, by the remote execution tool, the user script on a remote system for the first user account.

Securing delegated remote management with digital signature

A description of an application programming interface (API) of a server system may be received at a client system. One or more methods associated with the API of the server system may be identified from the received description. The one or more methods may be associated with accessing functionality of the server system. Furthermore, a binding may be created at the client system in view of the identified one or more methods that are associated with the received description of the API server system.
